I've been coming here for years, but this past two visits have me questioning it. The last visit I asked for waxing. When I got on the chair I again told her I was getting my eyebrows WAXED. She responded "waxed? No... threading is better". She ended up waxing a little bit and threading the rest. 20% waxed and 80% threaded which is what I DIDNT want. She also cut me so now I have a little cut under my eyebrow. The visit before... I waited for 40min before I finally left. For the amount of ppl there it shouldn't have taken as long.

I liked the henna design, but the ink didn't stain. They recommended to only dry for an 1hr, but instead I did 4hrs like google suggestion. It was upsetting that it only lasted 2 days even though she touched it to avoid fading. I've done henna before and it lasted 2 weeks, not sure why this didn't work. The henna was done on a Friday and by Monday the design was gone. I don't recommend this place for henna. However, the eyebrow service was good.

Love this place! I usually request Rahda, but everyone here is amazing. I always come back here with my daughters and anyone else that wants to tag along. Anyone I bring is always a super happy customer. Ambience: 10/10 Always clean! Nice but very small private area for waxing. I love the music they play, it's very beautiful and relaxing. Service: 10/10 Everyone is very kind and patient. They will work on you until you are able to leave happy. I have never had a bad experience here.

I was looking for a spot that does henna eyebrows, and since this place does it...I thought I'd try. BIG MISTAKE! I came in and since I've never had them done before, and all I've done was seen videos on how it was done...I trusted whatever I was told. The lady advised that I get threaded first. For the record I don't grow a lot of hair, but to have some form of better shape, I guess this is why I should do it. Who knows. So after the threading of one lady, another one started to do the henna brows. Now I asked if I'll know the shape prior to them putting the henna. I am super careful about how symmetrical my eyebrows are, and I wouldn't want something semi permanent put on my brows without knowing how the shape will look. I showed a photo of how I like my eyebrows so they are aware how I'd like them to be as well. So she doesn't draw it, in fact she just put the henna free hand. When i saw it, it looks NOTHING on how I want my eye brows. It was super rounded, and my eye brows have an arch! I told her I didn't want my eyebrows like that, and showed the photo. I explained I wanted it arched. So she puts some stuff to get rid of the henna, which actually stings and works on the other eyebrows. She did it free hand, but the shape was a little better. I let her know as long as the other eyebrow shape is like what she just did, then I'm good with it. So she started back on the same eyebrows she messed up on, and once again.....IT IS ROUND. I explained to her that it is not symmetrical. They are two different shapes. I told her I don't want it anymore. It's not turning out right. She insist to try it one more time, but honestly...I was over it. But she said she'll fix it. The eye brows are now arch, but still not symmetrical to the other one. I frustratingly insisted I don't want it and I don't want it to be fixed. She put that same stingy salve on both my eyebrows. In the end one side came off more than the other. She said they would come off with soap and water, but it didn't. I had to remove it with nail polish remover. Probably not the best thing to put on my face, but I know it was strong enough to take some of it out. Luckily it took enough out so that I can draw a different shape over it. Overall don't get henna eye brows here, unless you have super defined shaped eye brows. Because my eyebrows are sparse there is not much shape. So they are probably following the shape the eyebrows they free hand on. Either way I'd probably suggest to go to one that draws it prior to putting henna. Also threading is a bit expensive compared to other spots I've gone to. So definitely won't come back here.

Read the reviews and decided to give them a whirl.... Terrible mistake. Came in with full, thick eyebrows... left with barely any. Lady wanted to argue with me about how she just cleaned them up, she did not clean them up, she took them off! Make sure you tell them exactly how you want your brows. If I could call corporate, I would because this is unbelievable

dont come here. quality is bad, clearly doesn't know how to properly thread eyebrows. I've been to places cheaper than 12 and gotten a better job done. save your money

This is how my henna came out on the FIRST day and i tipped and this is what i got. I am extremely upset at the quality of my service. You can't even see it. This is how its supposed to look when its old/fading away. What a waste of money.

I love coming here all the women thread eyebrows lovely through the week theres usually no to little wait time you go in and check in on their iPad you sit down and get threaded they offer aloe Vera when their done ripping out those unwanted hairs lol also the location is bomb it's around a marshals!! And post office, Wells Fargo bank, Lbs financial credit Union, T Mobile, Ups store, smoke shop, beauty supply store, dry cleaners massage envy, the town center also has 3 grocery stores Smart & Final store Vons and Aldi's and a Rite Aid pharmacy all these good places to have next to each other and on top of that a bomb eyebrow place also eyebrows are $11!

actually save yourself and do no come here I had very thick eyebrows and now I have almost no left eyebrow. I asked for a clean up not to get half my eyebrow taken off . It's so bad I cannot bring myself to go out like this. please save yourself and do not come here unless you want the thinnest eyebrows. My eyebrows were my favorite feature about myself and now I'm distraught. It's been 2 hours and I can not bring myself to stop crying. My eyebrows will grow back but never like before so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that "sorry " you get ain't gonna cut it

This particular henna was not done by Rita. Rita was doing my friends henna and there's another lady that did this one.

I found Rita last year when I first moved here and she is by far the best in LB and my go to for all of my threading needs. She is super friendly, has a super clean salon, great pricing and follows all of the guidelines. You should give her a try! This location is very hidden but is in a plaza with multiple businesses. Came here for waxing. Brazilian wax to be exact. This type of waxing can be uncomfortable. Especially with someone seeing every bit of you. I had Rita and she was great! Very talkative and made me feel comfortable. She was very professional and made my session go buy really quick. Rita and the other employees are so gentle, friendly, and knowledgable about threading. l go so often that l accumulate points for a free threading which keeps me coming back for more. Awesome threading! I stopped getting my eyebrows threaded for about a year and a half due to a bad experience at a place in North LB. Did some yelp searching after I got the courage to give brow threading a try again at a new place, so I ended up trying this place out. I went twice; once with Rita and once with the other woman that works there. Both did a great job! I'm happy to be getting my brows done again, I've been missing out! Highly recommend :) read more

Was looking for a place to take my daughter for her first eyebrow clean up. First place that came to mind was Ziba in Lakewood. Went on Yelp, read all the reviews for this Ziba location and most of the posts mentioned a woman named Rita and how wonderful she is. Long story short, Rita is no longer at Ziba but opened up her own place in Bixby Knolls. Scheduled an appointment yesterday 8/31/17 and couldn't be happier. Rita is such a sweet and gentle lady, made my daughter feel comfortable and does an amazing job. We'll definitely be coming back. Thanks Rita! read more

This is THE PLACE to go for all your threading, waxing, lash extention and henna needs! If I could give Rita Threading 20 stars, believe me, I would! She is amazing, patient, friendly and she LISTENS to her customers!!! Rita is a master of her craft! Other places just start on a brow and could care less about the customer's wants/needs, not here! What a blessing that I found her! There is always parking, great location, reasonable prices and most of all, friendly service! All around WONDERFUL people and place!! read more

I was nervous about having my brows threaded again after a terrible result over 2 yrs ago from someone else.. but after growing them out for a year I was ready to try somewhere else & I'm glad I went here. After years of going to different threaders I can honestly say this is my fave and now the only place I'll go! Both Rita and Kala are so super friendly and kind... There is loads of parking right near the entrance and plenty of seating inside. The shop is always immaculately clean and my personal fave, is the calming music that is played throughout the day. I personally like going on the morning when they play really relaxing mantra music... so soothing and positive! I've only gotten my brows done by Kala, because she was the first one I met when I went the very first time, and I'm always 100% pleased with the outcome! read more

I feel so lucky to have found Rita! I used to go to a salon that would leave scratches on my lids. Rita on the other hand is skilled and amazing with her work! I think this is the first time that I did not tear up during an eyebrow threading session. Her salon is very tidy and Rita is such a sweet lady. I highly recommend this place. Wow. I really loveeeeee my brows & for someone who's been getting my brows threaded for over 9 years, I have definitely had my share of good and bad experiences. When I walked in, I noticed how clean the shop is. Luckily there was no wait. I signed in and requested Rita. She was extremely polite and even shook my hand. During the service she was attentive, asking if I was okay. She showed me my brow before continuing to the next. We made small conversation, long story short... this is my new shop & I live in Cypress. Worth the drive!!!! read more

I LOVE Rita. She's kind, gentle, and gets the job done. I've been to many places where it is painful beyond belief but my sister and I both agree that this is by far the most gentle place ever. I usually go to a beauty salon to wax my eyebrows, but unfortunately, my usual eyebrow lady did a horrible job to my brows. I needed help evening it out and luckily, Rita was able to help me! It was my first time at this place. You first sign in on an electronic pad and wait your turn. I like this system a lot because it's more organized and you get to choose who you want to do the job without having to awkwardly go, "Oh, can I see *insert person here*?" if there are multiple people on the job. Rita took time with my brows and instantly noticed how unsymmetrical it was. She fixed it and it looks a lot better! She's also very gentle too. I will probably see her from now on. Maybe I'll do my upper lip next! read more

Depending on what service you choose if you chose my package be prepared to receives skin prep face washing some massaging with creams and potions including micro dermabrasion hot towels scrubbing and a massage on your upper body neck face etc It's very relaxing and calming and the room smells great and I almost fell asleep. Cara is the person who I always book for my session she's professional kind and knowledgeable and knows what she's doing she made me feel very comfortable and answered any questions that I had. My face was sun damaged with slight hyperpigmentation including a few of what I called pimples the before and after of my face is absolutely something to see. I went in with slight sun damage on my skin and left with soft supple skin an even skin tone flawless blemish and hair free afterwards I'm shiny and have to keep the creams on overnight without washing my face. I washed my face the next day and my skin looks amazing I applied a tiny amount of SPF 30 Sunscreen to my face and skin and start my day. Today was my second visit to Rita's, and I can honestly say it is the best threading salon I've ever been to! First off, I love their iPad reward system. It makes it so much easier than having to remember to bring a stamp card every visit, and I like that you have the option to choose who you want to do your brows. Kala did my eyebrows and I love them! Without any guidance from me, she was able to shape them exactly how I like them. She's very gentle, and definitely takes her time. She also asked me a couple times if she was hurting me, which I've never had someone do before and I thought it was really nice. At the end with the aloe gel, she gives you a mini face massage which is a relaxing, spa-like way to finish the service. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience. On top of me loving how everything turned out, the salon is very clean and all the employees are friendly. I will definitely be back as long as I'm in the LB area! read more
