I'm giving a 5 stars for the Vibe, Friendliness, Cleanliness and attention to details. I purchased the Opulence Passport and started with a facial. Marissa listen to my concerns and gave me the "royal treatment". My face was so smooth, soft and glowing afterwards. She sent me home with a nice cup of tea. The next day I went for my massage. Can I just say, Kathleen has "hands" you pick the touch of an Angel or WWE if you want that. Lol my terms not hers. She makes sure you're comfortable with the pressure. We created our own vibe during my massage. She must have some magical tension melting oil because I was so relaxed afterwards. I think I left 10lbs of tension on the table. She sent me home with a nice cup of tea but I couldn't leave with sharing this experience. So I bought passports for both of my daughters. Tomorrow I go back for the stretch therapy and I'm expecting a next level experience and to feel more limber in the hips and shoulder. Stay tuned. Day three of my spa journey did not disappoint. Mr Harges provided my stretch therapy session and it was the perfect closer. He helped me loosen my the stiff areas in my hips and shoulder. To top things off he showed me how to do some simple stretches on my own. I called and left a voicemail on Tuesday, saying I want an appointment for Thursday. I received a text back saying an appointment is available next Thursday at 3:15. When I get there, the location is closed and when I text the phone number, I'm informed that my appointment was scheduled for the following week. Then when asked for a refund I was told to contact Groupon customer service. If someone calls on a Tuesday, the next Thursday would be two days from that day not the following week! Bad communication. Then just texting me to contact customer service feels very much brushed off. The term "opulence" is definitely a stretch. It's bare bones, no frills. Zero frills... I've been in fancier auto repair shops. (Thank GOODNESS this was an inexpensive Groupon purchase. If I had paid full price for this, I would've been upset.) The lobby has two chairs. Facing a wall. The lady behind the reception desk is polite. Doesn't seem thrilled to be there, but she's polite. The massage room I was in had no art. No windows, although I could hear the street traffic like I was laying on the sidewalk. The sheets on the massage table are paper thin. No heat pad under the sheet, and I was cold. HELLO? We're naked! There are wash cloths covering the face pad that are THE CHEAPEST quality. So cheap that after laying on it for a few minutes, it actually hurt my face from being so rough. No music in the room. I honestly don't think I've ever had a massage with no music. There are a LOT of loud noises coming through the walls. Kids screaming. Loud banging. Every single car. The lady performing my massage was nice. Asked me about the pressure, which was good. Then she didn't talk, which I very much appreciate. Her name was Joannie and she provides a good massage. Overall, though, I won't be back. Massages are all about relaxation for me and the environment didn't provide that. read more

My wife bought me a Groupon for a Swedish massage as a gift. I've never had this particular type of massage, so I'm not sure if how I feel at the moment (24 hours later) has anything to do with the type of massage or if it's the therapist's technique. I'll start by saying that I work in the beauty industry (salon/spa) so I'm a tough critic. The spa is definitely not "opulent". Waiting room could use some simple adjustments to create a more inviting/relaxing atmosphere. Shop talk at the front desk while guests are waiting is a no-no. Reception area is a bit bare....maybe some plants would add a nice feeling. Diffuse some oils that promote relaxation so it smells like a spa when guests walk in. My massage therapist was nice. I let her know that my shoulders carry a lot of tension due to my job. I had noted on the information sheet I filled out that I prefer a medium pressure massage. She worked on shoulders and back the bulk of my 60 minutes, which was fine. However, the massage was more digging into the same spots on my shoulders with hard pressure, and rubbing my back with light pressure. I guess I expected something different. Today, my shoulders are extremely sore wich has created over all back and pain. I'll have to have my wife rub some Deep Blue into my back to relax my muscles and numb the achy feeling. read more

2 stars for friendly staff! Minus 3 for my massage starting a full 30 minutes late and the extremely hot and uncomfortable waiting area. I arrived 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork that includes a questionnaire about what I'm looking for out of the massage and any problem areas, history, etc. The afternoon sun on the black couches (even on one of the coldest days of the year) was SO hot I was sweating. I sat there for about 40 minutes and by the time I got into the massage room I was very hot and uncomfortable not to mention concerned about my time. Child care doesn't grow on trees. Not the best way to start off! Therapist got into the room and clearly had not read the paper I was requested to come in early to fill out. So I verbally tell her my problem areas. Although the massage was relaxing, she did not focus on the areas I requested. I walked out with the same problem I walked in with. I have to agree it is quite bare bones and is far from a luxury experience. If you're looking for a simply relaxing dark room with soft music and a therapist that doesn't expect conversation then this is the place. If you want more bang for your buck, I'd go elsewhere. read more

I found them on Groupon and after reviewing a couple of Spas, I decided to get my massage with them. The staff was very welcoming once I got in! Kathleen, my masseuse, did an amazing job with my Swedish massage. She was able to get these two knots in my shoulder out. After my massage, I was feeling great, loose, and relaxed. I definitely plan on coming back here for another massage. I suggest you book your appointment well in advance. I purchased a package of 4 spa treatments at a very good price. I went for my first treatment today. I really wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The spa is quiet, clean, smells wonderful but best of all I was greeted with a very warm welcome. My facial was an hour long and very relaxing. I could tell that Marissa Pittman had a lot of experience. Her touch and knowledge exceeded my expectations. She used quality products and I felt so comfortable in the treatment room. I've been going to see her for facials about every 4-6 weeks for the past 3 years (since she was at Indulgence) and my skin has truly improved. I have acne prone skin and congested pores and to be honest my skin would look like a young teenager at the age of 30 without her expertise. She's passionate, proactive, and truly cares for the wellness of your skin. I've been to other estheticians before her and every time i felt like i was wasting my money because they took the fluff and pampered approach whereas Marissa takes a medical approach. I went to this spa to get a nice relaxing Swedish massage. Wrong! I didn't get that, I got nothing but aches and pain's. Once I arrive to the salon, I was greeted by the receptionist who was playing chill country music. The spa was very clean. The masseuse came out from the back room and didn't say hello to start, then she when straight to speak to front desk girl about something about a book and school then she went back to the back room with out saying I'll be with you. Until I looks at the receptionist that's when she told me she's clean the room for you. Then The masseuse came out a few minutes later, she said hello and told me which areas she wanted me to focus on and I told her my lower back she said OK and to take up my clothes and lay down and she'll be right back which I did. Upon her arrival she started massaging my upper back and my upper arms and shoulders, she kept on digging her fingers in my upper back and didn't do anything to my lower back, I kept waiting for her to at least do something to my lower back but nothing... she just kept on digging her fingers on my shoulders even her finger cracked a few times. Then she told me to turn around then she decided to dig fingers on my lower part of my skull extremely hard until I told her this really hurts she stopped a little bit and just rub the side of my head and she kept on pulling my hair throughout the whole massage. This massage was not relaxing at all. Now my upper body is in so much pain. I will Not recommend this place to anyone unless they want a painful experience. I can't even raise my arms up now thanks to this salón. I will not be returning and I would definitely not recommend it.
