Service was amazing, Marissa gave me exactly what I asked for, a firm hand but with the perfect soft touch with it. She understood my line of work and aided me perfectly and gave me great advice. My skin's inflammation has decreased tremendously!!! And the neck and shoulder massage, oh my !! I instantly scheduled appointments for my sisters and mother! read more

Marissa gave my skin the TLC that it desperately needed. A friend purchased a spa finder gift card for me and I was in desperate need of a facial... That's how I found this place. I was so excited because it's pretty close to home. Booking the appointment was super easy. I was lucky enough to get a same-day appointment. Marissa was amazing, very welcoming and friendly. The space is very cute and relaxing. I purchased the opulence facial and she really tailored it to my specific skin care needs. The best part is the noticeable difference to my skin at the end of the session. I am looking forward to coming back read more

I came in for my Brazilian wax and requested for her to wax my inner thigh. The lady told me it was five dollars extra to get the inner thigh. I thought it was part of the treatment? Anyways, I glanced at the invoice, and it said "extra something"! the money is not the issue, I tipped her on top of that, but I would have been a returning customer if it wasn't for that extra charge. read more

I scheduled a facial using a Groupon and surprisingly I received an appointment within the week and the service was great. Marissa is very knowledgeable on skin care needs and products. read more

This place is amazing with no contact and just text message. I picked the wrong treatment from classic European to microdermabrasion which was less time and less money. They said it would cost $20 to change and i said I'll just cancel the appointment completely and go some else for service. Don't waste your time here! read more

I'm giving a 5 stars for the Vibe, Friendliness, Cleanliness and attention to details. I purchased the Opulence Passport and started with a facial. Marissa listen to my concerns and gave me the "royal treatment". My face was so smooth, soft and glowing afterwards. She sent me home with a nice cup of tea. The next day I went for my massage. Can I just say, Kathleen has "hands" you pick the touch of an Angel or WWE if you want that. Lol my terms not hers. She makes sure you're comfortable with the pressure. We created our own vibe during my massage. She must have some magical tension melting oil because I was so relaxed afterwards. I think I left 10lbs of tension on the table. She sent me home with a nice cup of tea but I couldn't leave with sharing this experience. So I bought passports for both of my daughters. Tomorrow I go back for the stretch therapy and I'm expecting a next level experience and to feel more limber in the hips and shoulder. Stay tuned. Day three of my spa journey did not disappoint. Mr Harges provided my stretch therapy session and it was the perfect closer. He helped me loosen my the stiff areas in my hips and shoulder. To top things off he showed me how to do some simple stretches on my own. I realized that I need an hour of each service but if you have limited time try the Passport package and get yourself a reset. Opulence Wellness Spa has a great team and a new customer. I'm happy with my 3rd cup of tea. read more

I really love Kathleen! She has just the right touch and she always asks ahead of time if there's any specific place I want worked on. I also add on a scalp massage at the end and it is heavenly. read more

I called and left a voicemail on Tuesday, saying I want an appointment for Thursday. I received a text back saying an appointment is available next Thursday at 3:15. When I get there, the location is closed and when I text the phone number, I'm informed that my appointment was scheduled for the following week. Then when asked for a refund I was told to contact Groupon customer service. If someone calls on a Tuesday, the next Thursday would be two days from that day not the following week! Bad communication. Then just texting me to contact customer service feels very much brushed off. Definitely disappointing since I was looking for a new massage place to frequent regularly In response to owner. Horrible customer service but quick to respond to a review. Makes perfect sense. I used a Groupon for a discount hour-long massage with Kathleen and I'm SO glad I did! It was really spectacular. I've had a lot of massages from fancier, more expensive places, and they are usually not worth it. This definitely was! Reasonably priced and truly relaxing. Can't wait to go back! :D read more

I had a fantastic experience at Opulence! The facility is quiet and calming and my foot massage was given with just the right amount of pressure. I felt like pampered royalty! Kathleen ended the experience by making me a wonderful chai tea! I love this place! read more

This is a wonderful family spa with a very personalized feel! I went twice this week for two stretches sessions, and not only did I have two amazing stretches, Harges was very knowledgeable, educated me and sent me off with some stretches that I can do between our sessions to help me reach my flexibility goals. The pricing is amazing, definitely look into the packages if you want an even beet deal, you won't regret it read more

I found Opulence through a Groupon offer for a massage. Kathleen is an excellent massage therapist. I have become a regular client. While there, I was introduced to their other offerings, one of which is stretching and flexibility. I am also a regular for this too. Opulence is a small business, family owned and managed. Super friendly and positive vibe. Quality services provided at affordable prices. Highly recommend. read more

I found this place through spa finder. 10/10 recommend! I was serviced by Kathleen and chose to do a scalp message, Himalayan stone massage, and foot scrub. Kathleen was excellent! From the ambiance to the massage it was such an incredible time. I would definitely be referring people here and going back (sooner hopefully than later). read more

Others were very accurate in that the owner is awful at scheduling/communication and doesn't even care about making mistakes. She booked me half an hour earlier than what we originally discussed. She booked the appt and I didn't notice she booked the wrong time until I was on the way from LA. I turned around bc the appt would be less than an hour bc appts were full. Waste of time! Get it together and stop wasting people's time. In response to her comment below. She never caught it or well ahead of time. I double checked the text she sent me that day which was half hour earlier and I was already on the way. Stop lying and take accountability. No, I don't want to come back another day to have my time wasted again with another scheduling mishap of yours! read more

I do NOT recommend this business. Horrible service. Unable to book appointments as they have very limited availability and long waitlists. I had a 60 min Swedish massage a few days ago. My massage therapist Kathleen was very welcoming and knowledgeable on how to eliminate the knots on my shoulders and she put great effort in working on my neck and head. Kathleen is an amazing masseuse! I've had a pain and stiffness in my upper back for days and she managed to relieve the tension and a ton of knots from my neck and shoulders with ease. She used great pressure control and gave a great massage. They are perfectly minimalistic in decor and while I've seen some reviews critiquing the name "Opulent", the locations decor may not look over the top but the experience is just that and I can't wait to go back. read more

Good location, very small massage bed and room. The masseuse was professional, seemed skilled enough, but went very easy on the therapy, and it was more swedish than the deep tissue I asked for. Also, I was sold on the additional fee for Lymph drainage, and that never happened despite asking the masseuse. The music was also not relaxing, with Hozier blasting. A little over priced for all this, but a good massage. read more

Did the fire and ice facial for birthday party and left with a damaged skin looking worst for my birthday it took weeks for my skin to look little better as it was before.. all my family and friends were really mad that what have done to my skin.. also the area is pretty shady.. The term "opulence" is definitely a stretch. It's bare bones, no frills. Zero frills... I've been in fancier auto repair shops. (Thank GOODNESS this was an inexpensive Groupon purchase. If I had paid full price for this, I would've been upset.) The lobby has two chairs. Facing a wall. The lady behind the reception desk is polite. Doesn't seem thrilled to be there, but she's polite. The massage room I was in had no art. No windows, although I could hear the street traffic like I was laying on the sidewalk. The sheets on the massage table are paper thin. No heat pad under the sheet, and I was cold. HELLO? We're naked! There are wash cloths covering the face pad that are THE CHEAPEST quality. So cheap that after laying on it for a few minutes, it actually hurt my face from being so rough. No music in the room. I honestly don't think I've ever had a massage with no music. There are a LOT of loud noises coming through the walls. Kids screaming. Loud banging. Every single car. The lady performing my massage was nice. Asked me about the pressure, which was good. Then she didn't talk, which I very much appreciate. Her name was Joannie and she provides a good massage. Overall, though, I won't be back. Massages are all about relaxation for me and the environment didn't provide that. read more

I started having a monthly massage with Kathleen at this spa two years ago when I was constantly having back muscle spasms. DO NOT GO HERE OR BUY A PACKAGE FROM ANYONE. I have been looking to get an appointment for the last two months to no avail.

My wife bought me a Groupon for a Swedish massage as a gift. I've never had this particular type of massage, so I'm not sure if how I feel at the moment (24 hours later) has anything to do with the type of massage or if it's the therapist's technique. I'll start by saying that I work in the beauty industry (salon/spa) so I'm a tough critic. The spa is definitely not "opulent". Waiting room could use some simple adjustments to create a more inviting/relaxing atmosphere. Shop talk at the front desk while guests are waiting is a no-no. Reception area is a bit bare....maybe some plants would add a nice feeling. Diffuse some oils that promote relaxation so it smells like a spa when guests walk in. My massage therapist was nice. I let her know that my shoulders carry a lot of tension due to my job. I had noted on the information sheet I filled out that I prefer a medium pressure massage. She worked on shoulders and back the bulk of my 60 minutes, which was fine. However, the massage was more digging into the same spots on my shoulders with hard pressure, and rubbing my back with light pressure. I guess I expected something different. Today, my shoulders are extremely sore wich has created over all back and pain. I'll have to have my wife rub some Deep Blue into my back to relax my muscles and numb the achy feeling. read more

2 stars for friendly staff! Minus 3 for my massage starting a full 30 minutes late and the extremely hot and uncomfortable waiting area. I arrived 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork that includes a questionnaire about what I'm looking for out of the massage and any problem areas, history, etc. The afternoon sun on the black couches (even on one of the coldest days of the year) was SO hot I was sweating. I sat there for about 40 minutes and by the time I got into the massage room I was very hot and uncomfortable not to mention concerned about my time. Child care doesn't grow on trees. Not the best way to start off! Therapist got into the room and clearly had not read the paper I was requested to come in early to fill out. So I verbally tell her my problem areas. Although the massage was relaxing, she did not focus on the areas I requested. I walked out with the same problem I walked in with. I have to agree it is quite bare bones and is far from a luxury experience. If you're looking for a simply relaxing dark room with soft music and a therapist that doesn't expect conversation then this is the place. If you want more bang for your buck, I'd go elsewhere. read more

After going to Coachella, and walking all over DisneyWorld days later, I went to get a massage at Opulence Wellness Spa. I found them on Groupon and after reviewing a couple of Spas, I decided to get my massage with them. The staff was very welcoming once I got in! Kathleen, my masseuse, did an amazing job with my Swedish massage. She was able to get these two knots in my shoulder out. After my massage, I was feeling great, loose, and relaxed. I definitely plan on coming back here for another massage. I suggest you book your appointment well in advance. I tried to do mine 2-4 days after Coachella, before my DisneyWorld trip, and everything was booked. read more

Beware this spa no longer exists! I was able to book an appointment online and received confirmation but when I got there, the salon was empty and their name is not there anymore. I purchased a package of 4 spa treatments at a very good price. I went for my first treatment today. I really wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The spa is quiet, clean, smells wonderful but best of all I was greeted with a very warm welcome. My facial was an hour long and very relaxing. I could tell that Marissa Pittman had a lot of experience. Her touch and knowledge exceeded my expectations. She used quality products and I felt so comfortable in the treatment room. I will be scheduling future treatments here even after my bundle is used. This is the kind of spa I was looking for. No gimmicks, no up sells, just professional skincare. Thank you Ms Pittman!!! I am a very happy customer!! read more

Absolutely LOVE Marrisa! I'm so glad that she took the next step to open up her own shop, its gonna be great! I've been going to see her for facials about every 4-6 weeks for the past 3 years (since she was at Indulgence) and my skin has truly improved. I have acne prone skin and congested pores and to be honest my skin would look like a young teenager at the age of 30 without her expertise. She's passionate, proactive, and truly cares for the wellness of your skin. I've been to other estheticians before her and every time i felt like i was wasting my money because they took the fluff and pampered approach whereas Marissa takes a medical approach. I would recommend her to people who have problematic skin and are serious about getting it treated. She's fun to talk to and really knows her stuff! read more

This is my HAPPY place! I have been coming here since they opened and Marissa keeps my skin healthy and looking young. She always knows exactly what my skin needs and adjusts the techniques and products to give me the best results. Likewise Kathleen is one of the best masseuses I've had the opportunity to work with and she always provides the exact pressure needed to relax me and work out my knots. I highly recommend scheduling time for both a facial and massage...its an investment in you that is worth every penny. read more

My boyfriend gifted me 2 elite packet back in May as a birthday present, not really sure why I waited so long to scheduled an appt lol Other then that, I LOVED my facial Marissa did her thing. I love that she took her time with both of us and let us know what's going on with our skin. Very professional and she kept it real when I asked her questions. Thank you Marissa we appreciate it so much. Definitely will be coming back and will recommend others. read more

I went to this spa to get a nice relaxing Swedish massage. Wrong! I didn't get that, I got nothing but aches and pain's. Once I arrive to the salon, I was greeted by the receptionist who was playing chill country music. The spa was very clean. The masseuse came out from the back room and didn't say hello to start, then she when straight to speak to front desk girl about something about a book and school then she went back to the back room with out saying I'll be with you. Until I looks at the receptionist that's when she told me she's clean the room for you. Then The masseuse came out a few minutes later, she said hello and told me which areas she wanted me to focus on and I told her my lower back she said OK and to take up my clothes and lay down and she'll be right back which I did. Upon her arrival she started massaging my upper back and my upper arms and shoulders, she kept on digging her fingers in my upper back and didn't do anything to my lower back, I kept waiting for her to at least do something to my lower back but nothing... she just kept on digging her fingers on my shoulders even her finger cracked a few times. Then she told me to turn around then she decided to dig fingers on my lower part of my skull extremely hard until I told her this really hurts she stopped a little bit and just rub the side of my head and she kept on pulling my hair throughout the whole massage. This massage was not relaxing at all. Now my upper body is in so much pain. I will Not recommend this place to anyone unless they want a painful experience. I can't even raise my arms up now thanks to this salón. I will not be returning and I would definitely not recommend it. If you really want a good massage I recommend you to go to Burke Williams. read more
