This place no longer exists. Luckily being in the La Rambla area we were easily able to find another excellent dining experience

Service was very slow despite it being a not so busy moment and was coffee a little tasteless. Nice cava.

The food was fantastic and I really loved the cozy and quaint atmosphere in this place. Even though we don't speak Spanish it was easy to talk with out wait staff. I was impressed how efficiently they served our large group of ~30!

Like most of the restaurants in this city it has charm. Dim lighting, brick walls and columns and red upholstered chairs with wooden tables gave this place an intimate setting that was perfect for a few drinks and a tapa while having a conversation. We ordered a dirty martini extra, extra dirty along with a mojito and cod croquettes. Both drinks were on point, my mojito was classic mint just the way I like it, Havana club rum, sugary and refreshing. The martini was well above average with 3 extra olives. The star of the show was the cod croquettes, made with a delicious creamy cod filling, with a red pepper aioli sauce that put an explosion of flavor in our mouths! If it wasn't for us tapa hopping and trying to eat our way through Barcelona we would have ordered more but it was extremely delicious.

Do expect a wait time or enter their queue when it opens to expedite that process. We started there one night and there was a long line out the door. We decided not to wait as it was already midnight (late for us!) and come back the next night. I'm glad we did, because there was minimal line and we entered the queue before anyone else, so we were able to enter rather quickly. It was the coolest speakeasy vibe and fun ambiance. We sat at the bar and quickly observed the menu. The menu was lit up, which I thought was pretty unique. It took a little bit of time for the server to assist us, but it was evident she was super busy. My drink came in a skull with a "brain" that was actually edible sorbet. It was vodka and not too strong but also not too sweet. Honestly, I wish I had more! My husband ordered somewhat of an old fashion that he said was the best he ever had. Highly recommend if you're in Barcelona!

If you are into novelty cocktail bars, Paradiso is definitely a great place to check out! I did read that there would be QR code for a virtual queue, but we didn't see that option and just ended up waiting in line ourselves. I was worried Paradiso would have a snobby vibe to it, since it is ranked #4 in the world, but that wasn't the case at all! The servers were very friendly and the cocktails were genuinely delicious. There's also a sense of theatre when they present you with their specialty cocktails. For example, I ordered the Gravity cocktail (reminiscent of an espresso martini), and our server brought it in an interesting bowl meant to mimic a black hole and also gave a little background story to the cocktail. They provide menus in Spanish, Catalan, and English. Servers also speak English as well, so communication is not an issue. The interior is gorgeous and and had great moody lighting, there was also a great playlist on with classic pop songs. Their cocktail menu is unique and as previously mentioned, I especially loved their presentation. Most of their drinks are served in some funky cup or bowl, it was so fun seeing the servers bring out other cocktails to other tables. Overall, a 5/5 experience for me!
