We started w/ a pizza, and crust was perfectly crispy and soft where it counts. Spaghetti ala carbon melted in my mouth -- best I've ever had, and I ordered it on back-to-back visits. The risotto w/ chanterelles was creamy and yummy, and the spinach ravioli was soft and so flavorful -- sublime, really. We only ate one piece of their bread, so as not to spoil dinner, but wow, fresh from oven! Wine list featured some outstanding local wines, which the staff were well familiar and knowledgeable. Friendly and accommodating staff, air conditioned (hot Aug '18), comfortable (we sat inside on 2d floor) -- In sum, outstanding experience!! Cheers! RS

The waitress *yelled* in my face repeatedly when I asked her a question about our table while we were getting seated. I laughed and backed away honestly stunned. Then, she proceeded to complain loudly about me in Italian (thinking I wouldn't understand ;) ) to her coworkers at the bar. So strange when adults act like this. I highly doubt she would have yelled at me this way if I was a man, but I guess she thought it was ok because I am a young woman. Never going back, of course. - Alexandra

We ordered pizza which was ok and came straight away. All other dishes went from bed to wrest. The lack of communication led the a very disappointing dinner. Service was terrible and the plates came out without any order or separation between the courses. In a nutshell, don't come in if you don't speak Italian or German. Otherwise expect to eat whatever comes out from the kitchen with no ability to communicate to the staff. The owner is only interested in being paid and is not open to any discussion. The one star is only for the pizza

Upon arrival, you can tell they were wrapping up for the night. I had the veg soup, which was really good. I then ordered the beet dumplings in gorgonzola sauce (that isn't what they were called). I for some reason was thinking that I was getting a beet ravioli. Either way, it was SO good. SUPER heavy and filling but good. Good enough that I was tempted to go back another day for more but with the limited time we had in the area, I wanted to try other places. My husband had the spinach and pecorino (?) ravioli that is native to that area in a butter sauce. They were good too but mine was better! LOL. We shared the chocolate salami for dessert. It was drier and dense but good-more his thing than mine. I think it had small pieces of bread in it or cake. Not overly sweet or rich. I would definitely return here. I have already been trying to find a recipe for the beet dumplings - they were that good! This place won't disappoint.
