The bar snacks were good, and the cocktail menu was among the more interesting that I've seen. I loved my drink, which combined champagne and a rose liqueur. I suggested that my friend try a scotch-based cocktail infused with lapsang souchong tea. I knew that it would be strong and smoky, but I wasn't prepared for how delicious it would be. I kept sneaking sips. I would love to visit this bar again if I ever return to Bolzano!

This is where we were introduced to the Aperol Spritz, a popular low-alcohol drink popular in northern italy, made with Aperol (an orange-rhubarb Camparis-like aperitif) and proseco.
