While in Bolzano, we were looking for a nightcap so we made our way to Laurin Bar 30 minutes before close. Located in the elegant Laurin Hotel, this is a sophisticated piano bar and one of the most popular bars in the area. It's close to the center of town so we walked there after dinner and after visiting a different bar.
Ambiance (5/5): We were seated at a small table with two chairs. First off, the ambiance here is amazing. It's sophisticated and there is some impressive art work that adorns the walls. The hotel itself is beautiful so make sure to explore the lobby area too while you're there.
Service (3/5): As expected, typical Italian service. Not efficient and not terribly attentive but you get by.
Food (N/A): While they have food, we didn't dabble as we had dinner earlier.
Drinks (4/5): They have a creative list of craft cocktails which is what I went with. I always appreciate a bar that incorporates creative ingredients or combinations of ingredients into their drinks. You'll find that here. Though they are a bit overpriced.
If you're looking for a fancy spot to grab some drinks, Laurin Bar may very well be your best option in Bolzano. read more
