I came in on a walk in to get my eyebrows done and immediately was seated. Joti JOTI was incredibly sweet and patient when it came to threading my eyebrows. I haven't gotten my eyebrows done in a while due to the hair growth, not growing as often so I waited a few months to let it grow out, and she was very kind and sweet with cleaning up my eyebrows and making sure that I was feeling comfortable throughout the whole process. I felt that she was a lot more smoother when it came to the thread and wasn't as aggressive because usually I take breaks, but throughout this process, I didn't have to take one single break. I really enjoyed coming here and I believe that this will be my go to eyebrow place and I highly recommend going and seeing Joti because she was so sweet and kind and patient. This threading place is located in the plaza where there is a Trader Joe, Chili's, chipotle, panda, express, Kohl's, crunch, fitness, and Marshalls. This is a great spot to go get your eye done while you're running your errands and might as well do that in all the same plaza. I highly recommend coming here and I never had such a better experience at a threading place.

I went in yesterday to get my eyebrows done and gave the girl a good tip not only does she mess up my eyebrows she cut one of my eyebrows in half as she was doing my eyebrows she continued talking to her friend that was there she was not paying attention to what she was doing I am so mad still waiting for the owner to get me back to me! I am so very disappointed it's like a 2-year-old did my eyebrows

Really glad that they decided to open one in Monrovia so I don't have to drive all the way to Rosemead. This place is amazing for the price and the ladies are quick. I've only done my brows here but the other services seem reasonably priced as well. You're there for maybe 10 mins max so it's great especially if you're short on time. My brows usually come out really nice and clean with a good shape even though I never specifically instruct the ladies to do them a certain way. The only thing is, I always have to ask them to trim the ends a little more after they're "done". Not a big deal, though. This is my go to place for threading and I'll continue going as long as they're here! read more

Got my eyebrows threaded for the first time so have no comparison for this review. But I can say that I love how clean it looks. It was not painful at all. The lady who did my brow had a heavy accent, couldn't understand anything she was saying, but she always said things with a smile. read more

The people here are rude, the service is bad, just overall not worth your pain or money. The waxing is so very painful and when you say something hurts, they ask you "Why? We are doing the same thing?" They complain that the waxing is hard for them too, complain that their product isnt right or that their coworker didnt do it right. She said the wax was too cold so that's why it was hurting and when I asked her if she could reheat it, she said no. They dont do what you asked for and turn down any suggestions or input. They talk about you negatively while you are in the room. After the waxing is done, they smear some oil on you which doesnt even take away most of the wax that's left so you leave sticky. They basically just cant do their job without complaining or causing other people unneeded pain and inconvenience. Also they like to spend as less time on people as possible, no dedication to client, so they have 2 or 3 people ripping wax strips off you at the same time, so only adding to the pain. HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR WAXING read more

Kalpur is the best! It has been a challenge finding someone who does my eyebrows evenly. She has mastered this! I love that check-in is easy, you simply put your phone number and choose which stylist you would like to do your eyebrows. I prefer this as it can be awkward when you go to other places and they want to put you with one stylist and you would really prefer another one. They even have a special where I believe it's after 10 threadings you get the next one free. Parking is easy and free and I'm usually in and out within 20 minutes max. read more

I've been getting threaded for a little over 10 years now at a variety of places. I don't like getting waxed, as waxing tends to pull at the face and results in looser facial skin and wrinkles overtime. This place has a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and really take their time in ensuring you are truly satisfied with their work once they are finished. I've always been happy with the results and with the fact that they leave your eyebrows looking defined and natural-looking. During the weekends, it does get a little busy, so I usually like to come during the weekdays. This place has ample parking and is in the same square as Panda Express, Rubio's, Chili's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Toys 'R' Us, Trader Joe's, etc. read more

Kalpu is the best threader in town! Found this place by accident about a year ago and been coming here ever since. I used to go to Mahros in Paseo Colorado but I once referred one of my brides there (I am a bridal stylist) and she returned with the thinnest eyebrows and it happened days before her wedding! I was so disappointed I just stopped going. But here at Rising Threading it's clean, chill and the service is great. Kalpu is patient and really does an excellent job. I will drive 10 miles just for her ;) read more

Have been coming here for a while but today when I told them to be cautious because they always cut my skin the girl was rude and still ruined my eyebrows. I am as a consumer making you aware you hurt me and just to be cautions and they just get upset and do an even worse job. They just lost me as a customer ... Seriously just go somewhere else this treatment is not worth your time or money. read more

This place is very convenient and priced super low! I normally only trust my friend to do my eyebrows but it got harder for me to see her so I had to look around for a new place. I found Rising Threading just a few blocks from my house. The girls are really sweet and do a good job. One time they even stayed well after closing time to do mine and my moms eyebrows. My ONLY complaint would be that they don't do the arch on my eyebrows the way I keep asking them to do it. The way they do it is still really good, just not the way I prefer mine to be. I recommend this place for anyone in the area! No appointment needed just walk right in! read more

I used to go to eyebrow Hollywood since it was closer to home. But they messed them up so many times, I decided to look for another place nearby. I am so glad I did because this place is GREAT! I always get my eyebrows done with Kalpu who is amazing ! She's super nice and always takes her time with you. She makes sure everything is nice and clean and if she notices any stray hairs after she's done, she'll still go back and thread them off, without u asking her ! I will keep coming back ! read more

Kalpu threaded my eyebrows and upperlip quickly, carefully, and it was relatively pain free. I was weary about threading since my last attempt was with a woman (at another place) who threaded so slowly, I felt every tug of the hair that was pulled out. I won't tell you I cried cause that would be embarrassing (but I did) . I'm glad this place is close to home and prices are VERY reasonable. Going back today! read more

Friendly staff, clean and modern facilty. They do an excellent job. Sometimes other places break the hair not removing the root and you have to come back sooner. They do such a good job taking their time to remove the root. Plus they give you a card to earn a free service. They are the best! read more

My daughter has been doing her eyebrows and upper lip here already twice and she loves it. We have struggled finding a place that doesn't leave her eyebrows too thin or that they don't give them a nice shape. However this place actually listen to my daughters requests about how she wants her eyebrows done. They also give her a nice little massage. My left eye has an allergic reaction at the moment; I got my eyebrows threaded at Rising for the first time earlier today, and I didn't put any product on it at all immediately after, so I don't know what it was. I've had my eyebrows threaded before, and never had any reactions, so again, I don't want to give too poor a review as my eyebrows look nice, but I'm concerned about why my eye has an allergic reaction this time. read more

Come here as a regular every 2 weeks. I get my brows done by kalpu. I normally have a lot of eyebrows and get a cleaning, never a reshaping. I'm very picky about where I go for my brows because I've had plenty of bad experiences prior to coming here and paid twice the amount. She does a careful and meticulous job. You even get a 2 min head/Eyebrow massage at the end! read more

This morning, I went to get my eyebrows and upper lip done at Monrovia, and it was a fantastic experience! 2 ladies were working at the time, both super welcoming and soft-spoken. Kalpu is a threading genius! She gave such a natural shape to my eyebrows without going too thin. I usually hesitate to having my eyebrows done because my eyebrows usually get butchered. Not this time. I feel so good about them! I will definitely be back soon! read more

I tried this place before I found my new location. The girl that attended me didn't do what I asked for. They force an extra service which I didn't ask for. Check out Sunita's threading in Duarte affordable price. The service is much better there. read more
