They may not have the best selection of lager but once you're there you don't mind. They have a lovely, green and well taken care of beer garden. This is a big bonus, especially during spring and summer. There is a roof over it, so even if it rains you can still enjoy sitting outdoors. We almost always get free treats as well; chips, sausages, mini burgers, sandwiches etc. which is very nice, they are all very good at making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. If you haven't been yet, give them a chance, pop in, you wont regret it!

I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The place was nearly empty when I went for dinner. Despite that a young male server looked around the empty room, looked at me and then sat me in a hidden corner at a tiny table that was clearly not meant to be for customers. She confronted the jerk that put me at that table for not telling her that he sat a customer, and for purposely putting me at a bad table for no reason. He started laughing and gloating that he could get away with what ever he wanted and that he didn't care about her feelings or his job at all before he walked away. She felt bad but still didn't do anything to improve the situation. I wonder if he is related to the owner because he clearly didn't want to work, or even be a good person.
