UGH, why is the parking so expensive? OHHhhhh...is that…read moreWindsor castle right there??? Yeah... ok, that explains it. THAT aside, the parking space - if you are so lucky to get it is right next to the restaurant practically. It's a quick little hop and skip. We weren't really sure what to expect when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised to see it was more than just a little pub. We didn't have reservations that night but we got lucky and were still sat at a nice little table. I'm trying to not overeat this holiday season so I resisted the urge to get the duck and chicken liver parfait. Instead I went straight for the suckling pig. Still, I enjoyed the roast potatoes AND the truffle and parmesan fries that I ordered (yeah I failed at not being a glutton.) Both potatoes were delish. Too full for dessert, but the experience was so pleasant that I would go back again. THEN I found out it was a chain establishment so I'm curious to try another location. Either way, a good location for food and drinks. I would definitely recommend it!

Mind you, that wasn't all that bad because the person behind the bar was more than happy to serve me a beer without serving me anything else, especially since I really wasn't all that hungry. Look, it wasn't bad, and it did have some charm, but it really wasn't one of the greatest that I've been to.
