A small, humble cafe, often past by rushing shoppers - perhaps in desperation for some greasy takeaway at the food court, or the newest seemingly "gourmet" burger from McDonalds (as they would have us believe). But sensible, intelligent people like yourself and I chuckle at the ignorance of such fools - often with a freshly made latte warming our hands, waiting for some REAL food. It is truly astonishing that I can order a gorgeous omlette (who cares how it is spelt, we are here for the food) and a coffee and still be paying a similar price to a school student ordering a meal at Maccas or any of the famously cheap establishments in the food court - the prices are quite surprising, given the consistent quality of the food they create.
Every sandwich is composed from delicious sourdough bread, the same bread that they serve in any of their breakfasts (and served in generous amounts), and I always look forward to its appearance in the breakfasts or lunches that I order. I frequently come here with my mate, and not only is the food consistent every time but we are always greeted by the staff with warmth and happiness and it is simply a great place to sit down for a coffee, some breakfast, lunch or a cake.
However some of their cakes seem to be not as fresh or tasty as I would compare with the standard of the rest of their food, and on occasion there is one member of staff that fails to deliver the warm, friendly service as ALL of the others... But the rest of the food is simply delicious, and accompanied with an atmosphere much more preferable to the food court. I anticipate that my friend and I will still eat here in our older age. Excellente!
HOWEVER the kitchen closes at 3:00 so you can't have any of the breakfasts or lunch :( read more
