Cafe Vima is a bit of an oasis in North Sydney. Surrounded by green shrubs and tall trees it's a really good place to hide away along Miller St, which is probably why you'll see a few school kids here before school...ehem.
The problem with cafe ratings is that once you've tried a so-so coffee, it's hard to go back just to see if your first experience was just a bad day for the barista, or whether it was his/her "standard" cup. That's the case here. I've had better coffees before and something about the flat white's taste was not quite right. The Vittoria coffee had a bit of a strange side taste to it.
The location however is really nice, being nestled next to a busy North Sydney intersection. Vima offers indoors seeting and a selection of food too, which I haven't further inspected or tried. Maybe if I go back at some stage... read more
