A place that would allow them to be close and feel safe, supported. The property is lovely, and every single staff member I have come into contact with in the last two weeks is gracious, kind and friendly. It is not easy working in the senior retirement community business... I know as I worked in it for roughly 4 years as an ED. It is even more difficult working in a memory care unit, where aging loved ones are not the same selves they once were and need a lot of care. You have to give a level of trust, and rely on strangers to take care of your loved one the way you would. My Mom was here for roughly 2 weeks, with supplemental hospice care from the time she moved in, until the time she passed. The team in the memory care unit was always amazing to us, and my Mom. We were not there 24 hours mind you, but I observed the other residents being cared for and looked after by all the staff. My Mom was pretty much incapacitated and relied heavily on the kind and gentle care of the team here. Besides the Wellness Director Jackie, who was knowledgeable and kind, there is one lady in particular who was a standout to me. It was such a stressful time, I can't even for the life of me remember her name... but she had an eastern European accent. I felt as though she always took great care with my Mom, making sure she was comfortable and looked after... especially when we were not there.

I am so grateful to Circle Tree Ranch for giving me my son back. I am blown away at how much he has changed in the three months he has been there. I did a lot of research on Rehabilitation Centers; including conducting many interviews. I only found a handful of facilities that I felt genuinely were in business to help people as opposed to making money off of desperate people. I let my adult son choose from these and he chose wisely CTR based on his personality. It turned out to be a lovely open place with really good energy. I felt great about his choice! He is very happy he made this choice and calls it a "great place". He has replaced the substance abuse with maintaining a healthy body and mindset. He still knows that he has to keep this momentum going and has taken the next step by entering into sober living. My son can be a hard one to crack and they didn't crack him; they got him to want to be sober and to love it. That doesn't mean that it was easy for him. It wasn't; especially at first with the withdrawal symptoms and mood swings that occur for awhile even after detox. He felt like quitting several times, but this is a determined group of compassionate people who were obviously very skilled at keeping him on track. I think one of the biggest problems with many rehabs is that they are not compassionate for the people they are serving. CTR treated my son with dignity. I can't thank everyone at Circle tree enough. Thanks to Karla. Roki, Eric, Mark, and everyone else there that touched my son. You are all angels to me.

They told me that it was a safe place to tell your story in group and I got discharged for sharing my life story. I take medication and it was not given to me when I left. The driver didn't said I could come back for my meds the next day,but when I called NO ONE ASWERED THE 3 TIMES I CALLED. AND I NEED MY MEDS FOR MY MENTAL. So me and a friend had to make the trip back to the place because there is NO BUS THAT GOES THERE! So we had to walk 2hrs 30mins in the Az heat. When we get there it was not smiles and hugs we were met with standoffish attitude. The whole experience was enough for me to want to get high again. I went 3 days without my meds i tried to call to arrange something to get the meds and no one answers the phone. This place recently had a fire and not having phones or internet to call for help is a major red flag long with all the other things that happen here. I dont recommend this place.

I repeatedly observed what I felt was neglect in my loved one's care, including concerns that were not addressed despite bringing them to Jodi and Deb multiple times. After exhausting every effort to resolve the issues directly with management, I ultimately felt I had no choice but to file a complaint with the state. Memory care residents are among the most vulnerable, and families trust communities to provide compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Perfection can be found no-where (if that is what you are looking for) but this place has good vibes as far as cleanliness and very nice Caregivers. They, like everywhere else, can get short on staff from time to time and mom has been neglected a few times, but nothing serious. I did expect the cost to reflect the care and have been disappointed from time to time. That's life. Every time mom has fallen (YES, old people fall A LOT), the Caregivers have always contacted me right away, even though mom tells them, "Don't worry my daughter, don't tell her I fell". With mom's recent fall, they called the ambulance because I was out of the country at the time and they took very good care of her. She has "aphasia" and ambulation difficulty secondary to a stroke, and she is near deaf due to measles as a child, so it is important to me that my mother is surrounded by people who are attentive to her condition, who will have patience with these incapacitations and who are genuinely caring and they seem to be. The front desk people are great. The dining room people that I've met while dining with mom have been great (food's good too!). I think you get back what you put out. My 86 y/o mom is sweet, respectful, kind, appreciative, and I think that is what she gets back in return from the Caregivers there. Although assisted living is not the way my mom envisioned living out her elder years, it has been a pretty good place for mom in her present condition AND my mom is relatively content living at Cascades. I struggled with feelings of guilt placing Mom in assisted living, due to our work schedules and being out of the country off and on, but at peace that assisted living is her best choice and we are grateful Mom is in a safe place with people who take pretty good care of her.
