The staff was super welcoming and friendly which is important when you are looking to have a period of relaxation. I do not remember the name of the guy who assisted me, but he was very knowledgeable of the studio's services and willing to answer any questions I had. Now, about the float therapy- the one hour session went the exact way it was described. I had a little anxiety in the beginning, but once I relaxed and floated, I took a little nap. Real relaxation is when you can fall asleep floating in a tub of water without fear of drowning. After the session was over, there was one thing I wasn't prepared for, but this has no reflection on the wellness studio. I tried my best to keep my belongings far away from the water. However, getting out of the tub wet along with my dripping wet hair, showering, etc. must have gotten a few of my items wet because minutes after I left the studio, I had dried salt on my jacket, jeans, shoes and purse. It was a simple fix to wipe everything down and throw a load in the laundry, but I'll be better prepared at my next float session and bring a duffle bag to keep everything in.

The leg compressions, they bring you to a nice relaxing room and offer you some water and some blankets and warm neck wrap to help you relax. The space boots you put on go up to a certain level (7, i think?) and you can tone up and down the level of compression yourself as you sit there during your session. My legs felt fantastic the next few days after this. For the cryo, I think I may need some more sessions there to see the real effects. I was in the cryo tube for about 3 minutes and yes it was freezing cold but not sure it had any major benefit for me. However, the man there was able to explain the actual benefits to me upon request. This place is great. It has friendly staff and a wide variety of treatment and recoveries. And let me say -- we've lived across the country, I've gotten this birthday gift for years. This massage from Cara was THEE BEST massage I've ever had. IVY Integrative is a top notch facility! It's the only place I go to for all my medical needs. Dr…read more Leander is AMAZING! She is warm, kind, and brilliant. I consulted a handful of naturopathic doctors before I chose one, but nobody compared to Dr. Leander. She has literally saved my life! At least, it sure feels that way! When I came to Dr. Leander, I was having terrible pain in my gut. I became bloated, lost all my energy, and was so weak I could barley move. I went to a gut specialist medical doctor, before I found Dr. Leander. This "gut specialist" gave me 20 seconds of his time, cut me off, and then prescribed me a pill to take. When I asked why I was taking this medication, his exact words were, "This pill is $1200, a pill that expensive is bound to work." I went home and did some research, discovering that this pill was known to cause immobility, cancer, and could destroy the lining in your stomach permanently. I called him 4 times to address this. When he finally got back to me, I asked him why he didn't tell me how bad this pill was for my body long term. His words were..."You didn't ask what bad stuff it would do." WHAT? So it's the patient's job now to stay on top of doctor's about being ethical? Needless to say, I knew it was time to consult a Naturopathic Doctor, somebody that takes preventive measures to cure people, instead of prescribing damaging medicine. This is when I found Dr. Leander!! She gave me her undivided attention, listened, and got me on a plan that cured my gut pain and symptoms in 2 weeks without any long-term damaging side effects! How do she do it? With oregano oil and a diet of no gluten. Dr. Leander found the root cause of my pain (stress, exhaustion, and a diet that needed to be changed because certain foods were causing my gut to be inflamed), and I have not had gut pain since! I have since consulted Dr. Leander about a handful of things. She has helped cure my crippling period cramps and taught me how to find more energy throughout the day. In addition, I LOVE her office! She has created a beautiful space that is inviting and peaceful. The team at IVY Integrative is top notch too. They are full of passion and truly love what they do! Since I have been a patient of Dr. Leander, I haven't felt so good in years! I have already referred 3 of my friends to her because Dr. Leander truly cares about people's health and seeing them feel better!
