Do not go here the management was rude and will gaslight any attempt to file a report, don't expect them to take any accountability or offer to repair it . DO NOT go to Riptide car wash 3025 Mechanicsville Turnpike!!!! Machines don't work and management (Ben) is not willing to make things right. If you don't have time to go through car wash again, then you have 3 days to return. WHAT??? How you going to tell me when to come back, you don't know my schedule. I HAVE NEVER received service where the MANAGER (Ben) could not offer a complimentary wash good for whenever. HORRIBLE!!!! Oh and they said this is new management, LMAO the old team would never. I have tried several of this type car wash and Riptide does the best job on my car. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I was with them for a while, a year maybe,...I liked this car place. I went online to try to change my monthly carwash subscription, from the most expensive one to the next one down in price. .... I had my account number and entered all my information as they asked me. Meaning, change my subscription from the $36.99 a month to the $30 a month. I did this mid October 2023! When I went there in NOvember 2023... and they would not let me through the carwash,.. saying my account was suspended. I was shocked!! Mechanicsville location. The woman tried to help me,, but since my account was suspended., and I could not get through the wash, I decided to wait until spring to reactivate it. . Little did I know they kept billing me, ... I had no idea, that suspension mean they actually kept charging me, for months. It was at my second bank that I do not use. only kept a small amount there. They billed me from NOvember, December, January, February... with a suspended account!!!!! I could not bring my car though!! What the Heck!? Since I went online, and their system made a mistake, then I went in person... and they could not help.... told me I had to do it online, then I went online and sent them an email... and I got an email back saying they could not help me., as this was the Pennsylvania website. They told me to contract them, but I have been contacting them. Why would a suspension mean I keep getting billed, yet my car cannot go through?! I have canceled my bank card... to try to prevent them from the continuous billing of March + The bank is now acting on my behalf to reverse the charges. We are filing a report. Riptide is impossible to get a hold of. I feel so sick...that is 147. 96 with no car washes!!!!!!! Let alone, they never even charged me the lower price, that was what I went online to change back last fall.. They continued to bill me the top tier price.... It is a mystery what their system did. How could they keep billing me!!?? And me not be allowed to come through the wash? It was a suspended account! Help. Very sad. I will only change the review if they refund me for all those months they billed me during an accidental suspension! And reach out to me to make it up for their mistake. I need my truck cleaned yesterday afternoon, Sept 4, while visiting in Richmond. The gentleman who greeted and assisted me made my day! A lady charmer for sure, but he was kind and represented the company extremely well. Once my truck was washed, I used the excellent vacuums, pressurized air, cleaning clothes and products. everything was organized, clean and worked exceptionally well. The Riptide Car Wash will rip up your car! My passenger side mirror on my 2020 Toyota Camry was broken by their brushes during a car wash. Their brushes got caught in my headlight as well. I filled out an incident report, had pictures taken, and was told I'd hear from their corporate office within 24-48 hours. Six days go by and I don't hear a peep from them so I stopped by again. I was told by Robby they weren't responsible for any damage their equipment caused and that I should file a claim with my insurance company. If you care about your car at all DO NOT GO HERE. Their brushes will tear up your car! Use Flagstop Carwash instead. They have delicate (but effective) soft touch brushes, helpful employees, great amenities, and they'll accept responsibility if they damage your car (according to their signs). read more

Went by for a car wash and vacuum, excellent service!! Especially Xaviera!! She was extremely helpful, kind, and professional! I even saw her helping elderly customers who needed extra assistance. This was my first time coming by and they definitely gained a new customer because of her. read more
