Rolando renovated a bathroom for me and his performance was amazing. He did what he said he would…read moredo when he said he would do it. He is a true craftsman when it come to tile work - his grout lines are not just good, they are perfect. He completed the job in 5 days as he said he would. I called him back for a small issue and asked him to repair a hole in the ceiling (not associated with the job) and he refused to accept any payment. This guy knows how to run a business and provide customer service. I would highly recommend Rolando (R & A) and would definitely use him again. November 2016: As I said above, I used him again. We decided to eliminate the tub in the master bath and expand the shower. I know the common practice is to get more than one bid but since Rolando gave us what I felt was a fair price and did what he said he would do in the time he said he would and ran a clean job - what more could we ask of a contractor? His crew of 4 men are professional, talented, and were respectful of my property. His crew, which he obviously personally trained, remodeled my master bath and powder room on the first floor, removed an outdated fluorescent fixture in the kitchen and installed recessed lighting in kitchen and the eating area - in less than two weeks!! The work was done to perfection. The tile work is amazing. He personally met us at the tile dealer to help us with our choice of tile and made numerous other design suggestions. He even installed an exhaust fan with a humidity sensor that turned on automatically when I got in the shower and forgot to turn it on! And it turns off automatically. It's like we moved into a new house without having to move! You have got to call Rolando for any type of work you need done. I will. 11/20/18 This time Rolando and his crew went to my mother-in-law's house in Crozet, VA. This about 125 miles from Northern Virginia, located 15 miles west of Charlottesville. She is 88 years old and needed her 50 years year old bathroom with a tub updated and converted to a shower. I contacted several contractors in the Charlottesville area but no one seemed to have the time or was interested in doing the job. One contractor said it would take 4 to 6 WEEKS to do the job and since she was going to be in respite care in a nearby senior living center at $175 per day this was not practical. As a last resort, I contacted Rolando. Based on my history with him, I knew he could do the job. He didn't hesitate. He gave me a bid on the job based only on pictures I took on my iPhone. He started the job in about 3 weeks. He left a crew of 2 men and they stayed in the house with me until the job was done. They worked long hours and finished the bathroom in 5 1/2 days. Then they replaced the flooring in the family room and kitchen. As always, they ran a clean job, sweeping and vacuuming constantly. They also replaced the rotten facia board on the front of the house and an exterior door to the utility room. There were several times when I had to leave the guys alone in the house and I was completely comfortable doing so. When she returned home after a 12 day stay in the facility, my mother-in-law said it was like being in a new house. She loves the bathroom and the new floor. She can now safely age in place. Rolando and his crew came through once again and of course I will call on him again should the need ever arise. He gets 5 stars+ and my recommendation, again. Who else would do this? (See pictures)

We spoke with the Concierge Staff and R&A Top Remodeling were among the recommended ones. We decided to hire them after seeing the work that they were completing in another Unit. Three weeks later, we can attest that it was the best decision ever! Rolando not only renovated our bathroom and completed needed upgraded work throughout the entire apt. but also provided us with new affordable ideas. His attention to detail and new building codes were remarkable. Everything was completed on time and in accordance with the agreed procedures and contract. We are so pleased with the results and also excited to have found a respectable, trustworthy company to partner with again in the future. Gabriel's remodeling removed all old items in timely manner and took away; before adding new vanity, light fixtue and switches, faucet and medicine cabinet they had to repair wall around old vanity. They did repair and painted whole bathroom so paint would match. Once they added new vanity Gabriel had to do extra plumbing to make pipes fit in updated vanity. He did this and also added a dimmer switch and fixed our tub faucet with replacement part. Very clean around work areas and our stairs leading to upper level bathroom. Exceptional job by Gabriel and his crew! Will call on them again when we update our kitchen.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the Traylor team for a major renovation of our home,…read moreand I am happy with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was professional and as smooth as it could be for a multi room home renovation. The initial consultation process was especially helpful because they work with a great design team where you can really see how the materials will look together. The duo of Renata and Andre both have great ideas from both a function and design perspective but still try to accommodate the budget. They provide visuals before committing to the project and they were flexible enough to change the layout to our liking several times - we could be pretty honest about what we wanted or not. The outcome was pretty exact to the final renderings. We were given regular updates on the progress, any unexpected issues, and how they were being addressed. Traylor was always upfront about timelines and costs, which helped avoid any unpleasant surprises later on. They document every detail in an organized way so it is never unclear. It was a big project for us so, yes of course, we had add-ons and spent more than expected but that was not their pushing but more our choices. Of note, the project was definitely completed on time but we also had a VERY flexible timeline. Still I got the impression they always push forward to stay on track. The craftsmanship was exactly what we had hoped for and we have already gotten compliments on the transformation of our home. Post-renovation, the customer service has remained excellent. When I had a minor issue with a cabinet handle and drawer, they sent their main point person and construction team again to fix it at no additional cost. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, even after the job is done. I do recommend this team to anyone considering a bigger home renovation of the main attraction areas of their home. Their work does have a clean "wow" effect.

We removed the wall between the kitchen and the tiny dining room, and Traylor rerouted HVAC, relocated plumbing, updated electrical, and installed cabinets, counters, and new flooring. The transformation has made a huge difference in how we use our home. The quality of the work is solid, especially given the price--which is truly hard to beat. The team was professional, punctual, and respectful throughout the process. They cleaned up daily, which we really appreciated. Renata and Livia were always responsive, and Andre checked in on progress regularly. One of the most impressive parts of the project was how they matched the new kitchen floor to our existing hardwoods. They removed the old kitchen tile and weaved in new boards seamlessly with the dining room flooring--it looks like it was always one room. Several guests have commented on how great it looks. We're overall very happy with the work Traylor completed for us and will work with them again for our next project.

From the outset of our initial contact, we could tell that this was a truly dedicated and highly professional company. Led by Andres, the entire experience was exceptional. From the quotes developed to outline what services we'd be receiving, to the work being performed, leading up to a final walk through, we were not only guided expertly, but saw the results greatly exceed our expectations. We were especially grateful for the assistance in considering colors for each room, and the recommendations on where we needed to make some repairs that were not immediately obvious to us, as we had just moved into the house. One seldom spends much time focusing on their ceilings, but when pointed out cracks and other imperfections, it underscores the extreme value in having someone experienced guiding you in this process. To say that the whole team were perfectionists is not an understatement, because the attention to detail, from the planning leading up to the job, to covering and protecting surfaces and furniture, to the execution of the work, all care was taken to produce the amazing results we now have. In addition to the painting of our entire home, X-Clusive remodeled an entertainment room, removing carpeting, installing new flooring, repairing walls and ceiling and making it a wonderful space that before had bordered on a storage room. To say that Andres and his team went above and beyond is not an understatement. We had some minor things that needed to be addressed as work was progressing (e.g. replacing a light switch with a dimmer switch) and some hauling of unwanted furniture. Without hesitation these requests were met with a smile and a can-do response. I wish that I had before pictures for you to compare the beautiful work that they did, but sadly we didn't think of that. But rest assured, the focus on the highest quality outcome, coupled with incredibly attentive customer service, makes X-Clusive Construction the only choice for us to do work in our home again!
