OMG! Billy Lundgren is the new chef at Rio Pub and he's amazing! Stop by and try his food, you won't be disappointed. I had the Mushroom Burger and the mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the burger wasn't soggy. My guy got the Billy Burger - burger with brisket and a bit of heat - bring your appetite with that one! AMAZING! read more

Great little neighborhood bar with a welcoming vibe. The bartender was friendly, the music was on point, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax. They've got a pool table, serve food, ice-cold beers. Perfect spot to kick back and enjoy good drinks, good tunes, and good company or just for a casual stop-in. read more

my husband and I wanted to check out a bar in the area and we drove about 10 minutes here. It was karaoke night on a Friday night and the bartender was very pleasant and it was very chill vibes and the drinks were nice. I sang a Carrie Underwood song and caught a nice buzz and enjoyed myself with a homie dive bar atmosphere . Definitely recommend if you're looking for the similar vibe. read more

Just stop by for a beer pretty nice place love the lights ample dance room plenty of chairs. Staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely knew their menu. Would come again read more

Showed up for a couple of beers per suggestion of one of the boys, they have a decent selection of beer. They also have a diverse amount of liquors but we didn't have the desire for cocktails. This is a nice sports bar with board games and pool . Plenty to do. They offer outside seating and friendly service. Saturday is karaoke night, the staff wanted us to sing my apologies I'm not a good singer. We ordered burgers and sides. Burgers were amazing, fries were cool. We got a couple of burnt onion rings but let's be honest, this is a small town bar so please don't expect food to be gourmet. I didn't not see this a problem just an observation that life doesn't have to be perfect, we just need to have a good time. 5/5. read more

Nope. Forget about all the reviews saying "clean and friendly ". Was likely great several years ago when all posted pictures were generated. Now it's a dump. Better dive bars around. read more

I had a great experience when I came here! The atmosphere is awesome! The space is clean, and the decorations are on point!! The whole membership thing is real, but free! Best idea ever! The outside seating area is very spacious. The bartender is so nice and accommodating! She is really quick and very attentive! The hot dog was delicious. Stumbled upon this place yesterday. I called in to get an order to go. The lady taking my order, who is also the cook, was very nice. When I got there, the people at the bar greeted me with a smile and very welcoming. The cook came out to let me know it would be a few minutes which was fine because I knew it would be fresh. I ordered two taco salads, which were amazing and two tacos. The taco salad was freshly made and delicious and so were the tacos. Definitely will be going back!! read more

It's 2024 and this bar is still racist too a diverse cultural environment , older blonde bartender was so rude poor customer service lack of communication no energy at all too me basically looking at me clueless & dum as if why I am here , when a regular comes in she's super bubbly and supper attentive too them. Food is 10/10 read more

We were looking for a bar that was 10-15 minutes max drive from our home, and hopped on Yelp. This place turns up with good reviews, so off we went. The bar is surprisingly nice inside despite the deceptive exterior. As someone else mentioned, it was extremely clean. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were fine and the patrons are all nice and friendly, no issues despite a lot of them having tough guy biker appearances, don't let that fool you, unless you're looking for trouble, there won't be any here. Karaoke was a great hit the night we went, quite a few people sang, including myself. The Karaoke DJ is very friendly and has an almost unlimited library of songs. We had so much fun we decided that this will be one of our go-to local bars. read more

This is the cleanest bar I've ever been to. The owner is super nice and personable... Touch tunes available, pool table as well. There's also a 16 seater bar table available for parties. Come Sunday and Monday to get served by a hot ass bartender! read more

Rio Pub - Chips and salsa only $1 during happy hour! 3-6pm. - Tacos Near Me - Rio Linda, California

I was SO disappointed and will never be returning. They messed up not one but two of my drinks- first I received a coke and Jameson when I ordered ginger ale and Jameson- huge difference!!! Then had to wait a good while to tell them they messed up my order. No apologizes or anything but did correct my drink. Meanwhile the presumed owner or manager was watching this interaction. You'd think the bartender might have put a little pep in her step since he was watching. Then I ordered a shot of Jameson and whatever whiskey I got was NOT jameson and tasted like well whiskey. Not to mention there was no mask wearing and it was super crowded... no concern for covid in this bar. All around an awful experience. read more

Local spot. Just what it needs to be. I bring my dog and sit on the porch. It's nice out here right now. Cool little spot for Rio Linda read more

Soooo THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! I met a friend here for some after work drinks, and they recently started serving food, which I was grateful for because I was going to be skipping dinner otherwise. The tacos were AMAZING! Totally had their own flavor didn't taste like anything I've had before, the carnitas was perfectly cooked, and the rest of the small menu looked delicious too it was hard to make a choice. The chef came out and personally explained some of the menu choices & was super nice! The bartender was adorable & had awesome service our drinks were never empty! They had the new Orange Jameson in stock and ready to pour which was a total WIN for me because it's a new flavor I'm in to. It tastes perfect with club soda & a lemon. Big thanks to them for making a chill meet up turn into an even better experience!! Looking forward to going back for the future events they were talking about! read more

Nasty, COVID infested place. The bartenders didn't know the difference between certain drinks. Don't waste your money here.

Food is overpriced and unpleasant to eat you can get more better burger at McDonalds and there mixed drinks seem watered down definitely won't be back read more

This place is OK but $8 for 8 poppers? The menu pricing is all over the map! If you are going to eat it's probably better to invest in a burger because at least it's a meal and you won't have to sell your first born for a snack. It's Rio Linda not Midtown! Bartenders have always been very nice so I changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 ....the popper situation gets1 star. A decent happy hour would help this place too but what do the people spending $16 on poppers know? Oh just found a box of TGI Friday poppers with 36 poppers for $6.98 roughly this comes out to $.19 per popper...Really $1.00 per popper???? come on Rio Pub! read more
