The tortilla soup is the best I have ever had. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our food. A little disappointed by the veggie soup the veggies were not cooked very much. This is one of the worst restaurants in the area. Just wanted an appetizer and a top shelf margarita and both were terrible. The chicken rolls were mainly yucky spinach with no cheese or chicken. Way overcooked too. Margaritas are made with a cheap mix that is barely better than sugar water. Save your money and go up the road to Los Cocos for good Mexican and margaritas in Andover. read more

This used to be my favorite restaurant in the Andover area. I would go up to 3 times a week back in 2022, and I would always get a fajita Quesadilla and a small queso. I hadn't been in a long time, and after my most recent visit, I won't be going back until they lower their prices back to where they should be. It is ABSURD!! My usual order, which I got for around $22 after tip, cost me $32 THIS TIME. I understand things getting more expensive but a $10 upcharge for the exact same food is ludicrous!!! It's good but not that good. Moreover, they've scaled back the amount they give you! My chip basket came half filled and the small queso is now 1/4 the size of the FREE SALSA. They are being extremely scummy and it genuinely makes me so sad. I hope enough people complain and they'll go back to how things were. read more

This review is really long overdue. We've been visiting this place several times already and I have tried a few of their entrees but I always go back to the Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo. It's just the perfect serving of Shrimps, Avocado and Mexican Rice with a choice of Corn or Flour Tortilla. Last visit though, the Shrimps and Avocados were served on a bed of rice instead of just half cup of it on the side. It was as awesome as it has always been. I just prefer just a little rice on the side as I tend to eat more than I should. Lol. Oh, and the frozen Mango Margarita is divine! But of course, Chris has to stop me half glass because I was starting to turn red and my ears were on fire! read more

First time here and we were excited to find this restaurant so close to our new home, but we didn't enjoy the experience. The food was good but the waitress definitely needs some tips in waiting tables and customer service. Our waitress was more interested in chatting at the bar with the bartender than minding her tables. We had to requested our drinks be filled, once she filled our drinks she was gone. More chips for the large cheese dip we ordered would have been nice but we couldn't get get attention until she brought the bill. read more

This new place must have gutted the old place and remodeled. Upon entering, it is more open, nicely furnished without all of the gaudy parrots, bright colors, overdone shacky-looking roof coverings that made me feel claustrophobic in a booth. The colors are gray and white, toned down. The bar is right against the wall. Three waitstaff is right there to seat you. The booths were all full, save one at the entrance to a room full of tables. As the waitress escorted us toward the booth, my husband mumbled he would rather have a table. She must have heard him, because she passed the empty booth, walked through the doorway into the room full of tables and seated us at the first one. We were the only ones in that room. It was brightly lit, with sparse decoration. We were fine with that, because the first room full of booths was rather dim. We had to put up with people walking by to get to the rest rooms and listen to the clatter of dishes being put into the bus bins behind us, but we didn't care. I took pics of the menu, then looked at it in earnest. The menu contains the standard Mexican fare, most of the same beef, chicken, pork, shrimp and vegetarian selections and appetizer list as every other place has. I ordered the Enchiladas Supremas. Hubby ordered #5, all chicken. Indeed, he had so much chicken he couldn't eat it all, yet he questioned why he didn't get beans and rice. They explained that whatever the menu item had listed was all you got. He misunderstood the item line by line. The food was edible, nothing to write home about. The chips and salsa were OK. Hubby added salt to his to perk it up. I'm never impressed with most of the chip and dip starters. These didn't amaze me, either. All in all, good effort to get away from the tacky crap the previous restaurant had. I just wish they could have done something a little better than going from oval platters to square plates. Pricing made me raise an eyebrow. Must be trying to pay for the remodel. I'm giving them 5 stars because they are trying to look more upscale, but ya'll be the judge. read more

My dad loves there food but it's not my favorite place there food is always so bland and I always have to put salt on everything. The service is fine there is never people in there except on a Friday night. The kid's menu food is horrible so I don't recommend unless ur getting a plane taco. The ambiance is ok they don't do a great job cleaning it's kinda tacky but it's not very noticeable. So personally I don't love this but some people might. read more

No mask or social distancing was at this restaurant, our waiters and host were mask free, even the customers were allowed to be mask free before being seated. Something has changed. I have always had good food and fast service. Tonight had neither. Drink I ordered was not good, service was very slow. Our waiter was friendly, nothing against him. My husband and I ordered fajitas, usually come out hot, smoking on that thing that they have to carry with an oven mitt. Did not come out on one of those and came out semi warm. We ordered chicken and beef and it looked like we ordered a bell pepper/ onion combo fajita. Minimal chicken and beef. Very sad as I used to like this place and limited choices in Andover unfortunately I will not be back. read more

The last 2 times here have not been good, I think it's the server( same one last 2 times) went Mother's Day, server served the south west side. She was nice but just seemed to make mistakes with our order and every table around us. Everything was taking forever because she had to redo everything 4 times. The whole section was unhappy and it seemed to just snowball the hour and a half we were there. We have been pleasantly pleased with the consistency of this new Mexican restaurant. My wife and I have been eating here about weekly and the service has been personable and the food quick, hot and consistent. If we have ever had an issue it is quickly taken care of.
