Updating my rating. I stopped in to get carryout - Saturday night, 6PM, place was outta control. Busy, busy, busy. I ordered the Arrachera Mexicana - only because the whole fried fish was going to take twice as long they said (code for, needs to be thawed out.....). The dish was fantastic, and far exceeded my expectations. They included some chips and salsa, and were as good as any I've had anywhere. The lady up front was polite and kind, and overall it looks like a great place to eat (just not on Saturday night!). I would go 5 stars, but there is still a large discrepancy between the website prices and the menu prices. Perhaps they're upcharging to pay for the website, but I'd prefer they add a convenience fee like most places do, instead of making everything confusing between the ordering on the phone vs the website. Or at least a note why the prices are so high online! read more

The food and service was not pleasant, food was cold. Staff was rude. Some of the meat was chewy like a gizzard. The waitress was very rude, was staring at my wife while she was eating. Do not recommend this place. It's not worth your money or your time. read more

Stopped by here for a quick lunch on my way through town. Service was super friendly and staff were very courteous. I decided to try their lunch menu - but asked for it to be tweaked a bit, due to some dietary restrictions. They were able to accommodate this request quickly. Will definitely return if in the area. :) read more

Chips and salsa were good. Carnitas burrito was big and very bland. My dogs liked it.

It has great food and the best atmosphere,the service is great,the lighting is great for people who are sensitive to light and if you go there you will most definitely enjoy the food and chips and drinks. read more

Cute little hole in the wall with a clean, homey inside. Several pages to the menu. Entire pages devoted to just burritos, or fajitas or enchiladas. The meals were delicious and filling. There was honey on the table, with other condiments. We used it liberally on our chips. Prices were reasonable, the waiters were gracious. The atmosphere was not quiet, but not too loud, either. 3 televisions mounted on the walls for viewing. Overall, a nice place to eat. read more

This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant. The servers are very friendly and the food seems pretty authentic l. I had the Jalisco Special. It was chicken, peppers and onion with a cheese sauce. The servers are wearing masks and the restaurant seems to be following social distancing guidelines. read more

My husband ordered chimichanga for me. It wasn't fried! And there was no salsa/hot sauce with any of the meal. Ridiculous

The food is so good here! And the energy is really fun, I like the music and the sports tv they play here.

I have yet to have anything but an amazing experience at Candiles. I've been here many times and the staff is absolutely always friendly and it's such a welcoming environment. One time I forgot to ask for no cilantro and when our waiter noticed, he made me a complete new taco, even though it was completely my fault. This is one of my favorite places, and they have TVs that even played college softball during season. Only good things to say about Candiles! read more

Wouldn't have thought much of the place as it's located in a old strip mall, the best places usually are! Have been several times and finally found something hot, I like spicy and have had a hard time finding it here. Thankfully a nice waiter told me about the tomatillo sauce, not what I expected but it is a great hot salsa that they serve with the street tacos. We found this gem while attempting to visit another Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center. That one was not allowing dine in. This place was wonderful. The food was delicious! Our server was so congenial. We enjoyed the experience. It has typical Mexican decor with music not too loud.

Our waiter was right there to get the drink order and shortly after someone came with very good chips and salsa. We browsed the menu and our waiter took the order. The food was ready in no time. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! I don't eat much Mexican food but this is fresh Mexican food. The staff was also super nice. We got a Togo order and they brought us water while we waited. Out with a group on our way to Wichita stopped by Candiles- what a good choice. The food was excellent, we had fajitas, burritos ,tacos. They didn't stint on the meat. Terrible service! 6:00 pm on a Monday. We waited 15 minutes to order so we flagged down a waiter/cashier and asked if we could order. He said, "Wait a minute", and proceeded to answer the phone and took care of 2 people at the register. We left. There were 6 other people in the restaurant. read more
