Delicious somewhat citrusy teriyaki chicken wrap for eight or so bucks and really great chocolate coconut smoothie. Drive thru only it looks like. Super nice employee with dreads who took the time to answer my questions about the menu and her neat hairstyle. Thanks for educating me and serving me great food and drink on the fly!

I miss many things about living in Avon Lake, and Rio is one of them! Whether you opt for the drive thru or sitting inside, you'll no doubt enjoy the food and drink here. They have many vegan and vegetarian options, and they give your pup a treat at the drive thru! They have a large variety of teas and coffees. Everything is always fresh. It's a great place to get a jolt of caffeine and a bite to eat.

This place has a laid back atmosphere. They are good for coffees, teas, and lattes. They also offer sandwiches such as paninis. They have deserts and pastries as well. They have a drive through as well so if you're in a hurry or on you a somewhere you can get your coffee quickly!

Coffee was good, I know a Costco muffin when I see one though, no shade, just saying.

My mom and I stopped in on a Friday morning, and it was extremely busy! Not one single seat available, so we had to eat in our car :( There are about 50 or so coffee shops within 5-15minutes of my house, whereas Emilie's is about a half hour away. With that said, I really don't have a reason to come back. I also would never make the 30 minute drive without knowing I'll be able to have a place to sit. But if someone I knew needed a rec for a coffee shop further from Cleveland on the Westside, I'd recommend it to them! This place is a tiny little spot, nicely decorated. Very crisp and earthy. They use locally roasted ReadySet Coffee if you're one who likes to know that sort of thing. That being said, our lattes were DELISH! We got a honey bee latte and a honey lavender latte, both hot. Mmm so good! We each got a toast / tartine as well. Delicious !!! I got a veggie and my mom got a lemon blueberry (hers was way better) but both were great. And very large portions! I was impressed with how large they were ! Service was fairly quick, no complaints.

I found the small space to be a bit overwhelming, it was overcrowded and loud. Great for popularity but not the cozy coffeehouse vibe I was looking for.. I opted for to-go rather than my original plans of dining in. I found my interaction with the counter person to be a bit cold and rude... Although, my real feedback is based upon the delivery of my drink. I ordered off their special sheet, a winter citrus latte. My order seemed to be taking awhile and when my name was called, the barista simply said "this is just orange. I couldn't work with the winter citrus so I need to disclose that to you. " What does that even mean, and why wouldn't I given the option to change my order if what I ordered was no longer available? This visit was just an uncomfortable experience all around.

I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026

Only chocolate flavors available...again, would be way better in raspberry or peach or something). The ham and cheese croissant looked like it would be so good but alas, it was kind of stiff and not as fresh. BF ordered the Korean beef grilled cheese and they didn't even use brioche buns. It was $11.99! Lawd have mercy, the prices were even higher than Tous les jour's! Overall freshness and taste couldn't compare to Tous les jour. Nothing here was as good as the croque monsieur. They did have a lot of variety but the store was kind of smaller than expected. The very similar strawberries n' cream croissant that is $5 something at Tous les jour is a whopping $6.10 here. Plus the high tax that they charge, it seemed criminal to ask for a tip on top of that. There are trays and tongs for you to grab everything for yourself. I guess I should tip myself since I served and cleaned my area. I'm glad I bundled this stop with Avon parks because otherwise it's 40+min out of the way for me. I'll stick with my Tous les jour until the next Asian bakery opens on the east side!
