I have nothing but good/great things to say about Rinker. I wanted a company to install 2 permanent surge protectors on my home. Rinker was the only one who provided a flat installation fee (that was also reasonable), a relatively quick installation appointment, and gave me answers to my questions that made sense and were consistent with appropriate practice. The protectors that were installed had higher capacity than another contractor's installation which I was told was "just enough." Just as important, the electrician left the installation sites clean and finished (the work to install one of the units appeared to take efforts that were above and beyond a simple installation however I was not charged any extra). This company is one big huge waste of time. I specifically flew back from my vacation from Florida to meet this company to install my AC unit. They canceled the first time then they canceled again. Total waste of time totally unreliable company we have canceled their service. We will now find another company to install our units. Buyer beware. !!! read more

Rinker Electric is the ONLY company I would recommend you consider for electrical work or standby whole house generators in Northeast PA. I have been in the real estate property management field for 42 years. You could say I've seen it all. I am seriously impressed. The level of professionalism, the decidedly work oriented, can-do attitude that each and every member of the Rinker team exhibited, from start to finish, going above and beyond when necessary, is exceedingly rare in this day and age. You very clearly see that these professionals take pride in their workmanship and quickly realize that they are looking out for your best interests every step of the way. Time is taken to ensure a class A installation. When I hit a glitch with the propane tank installation, Julio sent Devin within hours, who got me out of a bind, working to fix problems which had nothing to do with Rinker's installation, coordinating with Keystone Propane to make it right (who I might add also stepped up to the plate). I called Rinker and spoke to Josh in reference to getting an estimate on a ductless system. I explained I had received 2 other estimates and would like to get an estimate from Rinker. As I explained to Josh as I did to the other companies, my house has been on the market, but things look bleak. So, I will be pulling it off the market. Josh spoke to me, and I tried to describe my house as best as I could to him because he did not want to come in person to do the estimate. At the end of the conversation, he told me without seeing the house it will be hard to give me a price but instead he gave me a ballpark. I though the figure sounded good and told him so. I told him I will call back in August to get him here so he could see the house so he could let know me what I will need like the placement of the head units and condenser and give me the actual price and talk about what financing they offer and so on. So I called and he told me we spoke about it over the phone, and he would not come in person to give me an estimate. He told me it wouldn't be worth it for him to come to do the estimate. So apparently Rinker will not give you an in person estimate unless you tell them ahead of time you are going to agree to buy from them. Either that or Josh is a lazy moron and should be fired. On the other hand, I am glad he showed me Rinker's true colors because I do not want to do business with a company like that. Thank you, Josh... Rinker installed two ductless heating/cooling units and additional receptacles in our tiny cabin by the lake. Ron did an amazing job assessing all of the requirements and he built a system to accommodate our needs. We were extremely impressed with the crew assigned to perform the work. They protected all of the work areas, wore protective shoe coverings and cleaned up any debris both inside and outside after the installation was finished. The work was professionally completed within the estimate provided and the system works perfectly. We would not hesitate to use their services again and would highly recommend them in the future. read more

I contracted Rinker to install my Backup whole house Generator they are very Professional and did a very clean job, the installation crew worked along side the crew installing the LP tank like they were on the same team. I would recommend for future service. read more

I called them as the come very highly recommended. I received a call back last week telling me he would be two weeks for the job. I said that is ok. He told me he'd all me back the next day to tell me when he could come and look at the job. I have called and texted and no response. My friends ..I guess we're wrong. I have arching in my 220 box this is dangerous and I really needed someone to at least look and tell me if I'll burn to death from a electrical fire. No response. I did post on Facebook to find someone that will at least do what they promised...and recieved several responses in a group with reliable and someone that will at least stay in contact. Sorry someone else will make that fat cash you missed out on. Big mistake...huge. read more
