The price of entry is fair. The bathroom were dirty. It will be preferred to bring your own skate. There rentals skate were damp and smell.

We had an amazing time at the Halloween Skate at Astro Skate Center this past Sunday. The manager…read moreAmber personally helped my wife pick out a new pair of skates and we could not have been happier. Amber stopped what she was doing to help us and took the time to explain the differences in skates. She was very personable and professional and is a true ambassador to Astro Skate Center. It's because of her and being valued as a customer that we will return. This is an amazing place, it's not only kids but adults as well. I highly recommend this place as a family event or for date night as you won't be disappointed! It was well staffed and a safe place to let the kids run wild. Thanks again Amber for helping us with our skate selection and free passes.

It's disappointing that they don't have skating for everyone every night. Came on a Friday which…read morewas kids night without me realizing it. It was true to its name and were literally just little kids skating. It wouldn't have been as bad if they were skating in the normal direction but they weren't. Instead of skating in a circle, they skating in an up & down direction. My friend and I stayed for 5mins before we decided to leave. Luckily they were nice enough to refund us without a problem. Later I saw that adult night is only In Saturdays for two hours. This is so limiting. Unfortunately Daytona is a small town so there aren't a lot of other options unless you drive to Orlando.

Holy throwback vibes!! This place literally feels like you're walking back in time. If you used to…read morego skating when you were a child and are looking for some nostalgia this is definitely the spot to hit. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. I would definitely come back for a visit but try again on a non weekend day when the pricing is a little bit lower.

I've been coming here for over 10 years and always have a great time getting my skate on. They have a DJ spinning tunes , skate shop to purchase skates and accessories , rental skates for all sizes including beginner skates but they do not have the trainer assistance for those who are in need of something to hold on too like Astro skate. Snack bar has food , slushies , ice cream and fountain drinks and a nice area designated for eating so the skating area stays nice and clean. They also offer birthday party packages that you can view on their website . Hope to see you on the rink !

As for the ice conditions coastal Florida is gonna be a battle against nature daily to keep great ice. But the community of hockey players is second to none. Éric and Karen Perrin are awesome they run the adult hockey program. For the uninitiated Éric Perrin played for the Tampa Bay Lightning when they won the Stanley Cup in '03-04. Not often you get to meet a Stanley Cup Champion especially one as down to earth as him.

This was a pretty bad experience all around. The ice was overcrowded and didn't feel safe because…read morethey schedule A LOT of birthday parties at once during the public skate time. I was terrified to run someone over. On top of that, the rink is just not in great shape, as evidenced by: With what must have been close to a couple hundred people crammed into the building between parents and kids. One of the main doors to get into the rink area was marked as broken, and it caused a lot of issues trying to enter and exit, and confusion over whether both doors of the set were broken or just one, as the signage and cone was only on one of them. The entry to the ice itself is tiny and easily blocked by one person, let alone people also to exit the ice. Water was dripping from the rafters onto my skate bag. The rental skates are in BAD condition, like, I'm aware that rentals aren't good but most of these were nasty and should have been replaced already. And because of the massive crowd and gift tables from the parties there was basically no place to sit and put skates on. It was a couple of our kids' first time skating and I wish I'd have just taken them to one of the other rinks nearby, but I wanted to have access to a walker for any of them that wanted to use it. On that note, I purchased a walker rental but I was not given the correct color wristband to get one, so actually getting the walker was more challenging than it needed to be. For this..."experience", we paid a little more than $70. Maybe it's better on a weekday but I can't say I'm very excited to go back and see if that's true or not after the experience we had today. It kind of feels like we survived an incident rather than had a fun family outing.
