I have silver-white hair that I let grow out during the pandemic and I am in my early 50s. I went through to the drive-up window as I usually do to pick up my mom's prescriptions. The interactions have always been fine and the staff there have been nice. when I went to the drive-thru window, this lady with dark hair and glasses possibly in her 30s or possibly even early 40s waited on me. I could tell right away she seemed stressed like she didn't want to be there and she wasn't nice when I asked for my mom's prescription. As she was helping me her voice became lower and she mumbled the directions. I couldn't hear her and leaned in towards their glass window outside my car window telling her I couldn't hear her. I was not rude at all during the entire interaction. I worked customer service for years when I was younger from Radio Shack, to a pizza shop, to waitressing. So I try to be extra nice to anyone who waits on me because I know how difficult the public can be sometimes. She then repeated what she said before and literally screamed it at me. She could have just raised her voice and repeated what she said, but she screamed it at me. She was telling me to give me to sign a receipt through the slot. I went into shock because I have never been treated like that by anyone in customer service before. She glared at me as she screamed and was rude and dismissive as I left. I thanked her stupidly and was shocked not quite knowing how to handle it. I should have said something back with the way she was, but felt it would have only escalated the situation. I am giving this review because if she treated me that way, how is she treating actual seniors? That is pure and simple abuse and I am going to contact Walgreen's corporate and also possibly the BBB to also make a complaint. Seniors should not be treated that way or really anyone for that matter. This woman should not be working with the public.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the gentleman working as a cashier around 5:45 p.m. on…read moreAugust 10th for an act of customer service and simple kindness that really stood out to me. While waiting in line to check out, I noticed that the customer in front of me spoke only Spanish and was having difficulty communicating with the cashier. The customer typed something into his phone, apparently using a translation app, and showed the English translation to the cashier. The cashier responded, "No, I'm sorry," and explained that they didn't have what the customer was asking about. From the look on the cashier's face, however, he seemed concerned that the customer might not have fully understood his answer. Rather than simply shaking his head, saying no, and moving on to the next customer, he pulled out his own phone, quickly typed his response into a translator, and showed the customer the answer in Spanish. That may seem like a small gesture, but it spoke volumes. As someone who also comes from another country, I understand all too well how frustrating and isolating it can be trying to communicate when you don't know the language. I really appreciated seeing this gentleman take the extra time to make sure he understood what the customer was asking and, just as importantly, that the customer understood his response. There are plenty of people who would have simply said "no," shrugged, and moved on. He didn't. He made sure the lines of communication stayed open and treated the customer with patience, dignity, and respect. Kudos to this gentleman. What I witnessed was not only excellent customer service, but also genuine human kindness. In a world where people are often in a hurry to get to the next person, those extra few moments mattered, and they certainly didn't go unnoticed.

The customer service varies, but it's usually pretty darn good. This store is different because of its location. That's about it. The store is clean, and the customer service is good. There's a pharmacy, photo printing section, and all the common accoutrements. Overall, Walgreens are everywhere, and there a good place to get an assortment of needed items in a hurry. Where do you run out of TP, or picking up a water or two for the road, Walgreens is a trusted name, and you know what to expect.

Upon getting at register there were 2 employees, one told me she would be out in a couple minutes and they both went behind a closed door, leaving no employee in sight. I waited 7 minutes they still didnt come so I went to the pharmacy and they paged assistance to the front. She immediately came out and scolded me that she said it would be a couple of minutes. I informed her I was waiting 7 minutes, I wasn't sure how much longer to wait as she said it would only be a couple minutes and i needed assistance. She proceeded to give me more attitude mocking me about how I said i waited 7 minutes and told me that the other employee she was helping was priority and she had to take care of that amd said i could have left if i did not want to wait. She would not stop degrading me for needing help at checkout so i told her i understand customers are NOT priority here. She continued to go on criticizing me for asking for assistance on the register and would not stop going on about it.

I didn't have my Indiana driver's license yet and the insurance company assumed I took my husband's last name, so my legal name on my Las Vegas driver's license has never matched my insurance card. The previous pharmacist I went through knew me and the situation (as to why my last name on the insurance hasn't been changed is a whole other Yelp review). Anywho, I called and the pharmacist and pharmacy staff were super nice and laid back. I explained my situation and they were really understanding about everything! Same day service. They took the prescription from my doctor, who's in Nevada (telephonic appointments are awesome), no issues. Pickup was great. I didn't go inside, but the drive through experience was nice. I guess the only thing that I can say negative is that my prescription bottle looks like a throwback to the 80ies, but I don't have kids so no need for a push cap. I'll update if anything changes, but I highly recommend this pharmacy!

I brought 7 of my old video recorder tapes into Walgreens and they sent them off and within 4 weeks I got an email that let me have a month trail of looking at all the home videos on iMemories right on my phone and computer. This allowed me to watch them without waiting for the DVD's to come back to the store! (Usually takes another month for that) Each tape costs $24.99 and then additional $9.99 for the CD, but the best part is you don't pay until you get the DVD's. (Gave me some time to save up the money lol) Attached in the photos you'll see that they packaged everything really neatly to cause it to not be damaged and even put my still frames on the videos to give it a warm feeling. I am not recommending all my family and friends to transfer their old home videos at Walgreens! Thank you Walgreens for bringing back all the wonderful memories.

He took the time to sit and talk with me during the 15 minute waiting period after the injection. Not only was Sam friendly and personable, he gave very helpful counsel on some pharmaceutical questions that I had related to side effects and compounding. My wife and I are going to see if they are in network for our prescription insurance.
