Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! By luck, back when the Beehive was on Lorimer, I was given an appointment with Kay when my regular stylist wasn't available and I've been going to her ever since. I happily followed her to Ringo's and love the laid-back vibe at this LES salon. The one thing I really appreciate about K is that she listens to what I want and cuts my wavy hair to my liking. She spends a lot of time making sure the cut and color are perfect and I always walk out of the salon feeling like a superstar. Plus, she's fun to chat with while my color sets and she never minds answering my questions about how to style my hair, what products she's using or anything else I can think of when it comes to my haircut. I found Kay, formerly of The Beehive Salon!!!!! Kay (..or just K) started cutting my hair a couple of months ago when she worked at the Beehive Salon. My hair was crazy long, multicolored, and super dry after traveling for 5 months. I desperately needed some color and style, with a bit of edge, but not too trendy. I had some ideas, shared what works for my hair and what doesn't and then asked Kay for some input. Kay knew what to do, chopped off 5 plus inches and gave me a great cut and color. I love it! I've been a huge fan since and often send admiring friends and strangers to Kay who are constantly asking me "who cuts your hair". There's another gem at Ringo, and her name is Kay, who has a chair at Ringo's Salon. I have very thick, curly hair (soft curls, not corkscrew), and I asked Kay to cut it to just under my ear -- an "edgy but elegant" style. She handled my insanely thick (and somewhat unruly) locks with poise, taking her time to make sure that it was what I had described. Kay Chang has cut my hair for years. She used to be at the Beehive; now she's at Ringo's -- a more convenient location with a better ambience (always great music playing on the stereo). Kay is truly awesome. I can't recommend her more highly. I always receive compliments on the cuts she gives me. And it's not because I have cool hair; I don't. But she makes it look cool.
