Brisket 1/4 lb. Plate with potato salad and beans. I added a sausage link

This place changed a lot. You no longer order at the counter, great. But now that you get a menu, they shrunk the menu?! They don't have the giant chicken sandwich anymore. Service was good, I liked my lean brisket. My son said the moist brisket wasn't very moist. We had to ask for bbq sauce, our container was practically empty. The sausage was not good. Potato salad was ok, the fries were pretty good. I love the look of this place but the food just wasn't the same as it used to be.

    Best burger!!

Best burgers in town , only four options but, you don't need more. I had the one with grilled jalapeños and onions and my daughters had the one with brisket and sausage. We love them !!

We arrived later in the evening so there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. Both my wife and I ordered the brisket plate. Overall, we thought the brisket was good. I enjoyed the fries and beans as well. Bbq sauce that they offered had a good flavor to it. If I'm being picky, I like toasted bread with my bbq but beggars can't be choosers. If you plan on paying with card, please bring cash for the tip!

I have the opportunity today to stop in here and have lunch. I was traveling from Dallas Fort Worth and had a little time to kill before my appointment here in Laredo. I went in and ordered, got hooked up to their Internet and worked in place calls while I ate. It was quiet cool, and they were so nice. I had the stuffed baked potato and it was so good. Recommend it highly.

The brisket at Ringos! 18.99 a pound!

I seriously believe this may be the worst brisket I have ever had, and I paid 18.99 a pound for it. Dry, old and tough, they should probably charge 25.00 a pound and call it Jerky! If anyone tries this brisket please don't think this is what Texas brisket really taste like! On the plus side, the girl at the drive through was awesome and very polite. The Sausage link was very good, so was the sauce, and they gave me lots of pickles and bread. Just very disappointed in the brisket!

Hello, Let's talk BBQ! I've seen this place a few times getting out of work and decided to give it a shot. I didn't know what to expect because since moving to Laredo, my dining experiences haven't been the greatest.  As I'm walking towards the restaurant I can smell the smoke and the meat sweats in the air.. I just knew I was in for a treat.. Boom! Doc Holiday on the wall! Great rustic atmosphere where I felt like I was back in 1800s Saloon with two six shooters at my hips cheating in shady game of poker. I scanned the menu and decided to aim for the six shooter burger with seasoned fries. Also a side order of brisket fries... Oh man! Oh man! The bread on the burger was so fluffy yet firm and didn't get soggy as it held thick patties of ground beef and brisket, thick bacon, cheese, and fresh veggies.. They're not playing games here folks.. Great flavor! The brisket fries topped with cheddar cheese! Lordy, after I took the first serving into my pie hole I felt like I could hold my own agaisnt anyone In good ol Mexican standoff! Pew Pew! .. I recommend this place to anyone! Even the vegetarians! I will go back sometime week like a motived bounty hunter! Some man ordered ribs next me and a part of me wanted grab the left over bones and eat what he didn't want.. Shut the front door! Don't get your panties in bunch over lunch or dinner.. Go to Ringos eat your little heart out! Yours Truly... Too Real #meatinyourmouth

Watch out San Antonio! While visiting family here in Laredo TX just had one of the best/different burgers I ever had! OMG...Just had the DOC HOLIDAY burger - 1/2 LB patty, sliced sausage, chopped brisket, bacon, cheese and topped with a fried egg here in Laredo TX. Dam it was good! And the fries were outstandin too, Nice and crispy with a nice season on them. If you want something different instead of the same o same o, this is the place. Come Hungry!!

Had the Hoss Hamburger and Brisket Fries. The bun was buttery and soft. The meat on the hamburger and fries were top notch. This is the best hamburger and loaded fries I have had in years. If they were in Austin I would easily gain 200lbs!

    The Doc Holiday

I saw this restaurant on the Texas Bucket List for the burger of the week. They feature the Doc Holiday burger. It was fantastic. Food and service was awesome. The owner was talking to us helping us out. I believe they call him Ringo. He was great. Food came our fast hot and amazing. Prices were great as well. The building is very nice. We came from Corpus Christi and placed this restaurant a must visit on our to do list

The buffalo chicken sandwich was really good. As you can tell from the pic it was HUGE. Fries were also great. Overall great spot!

Chicken enchiladas, charro beans, mac&cheese, salsa verde.

Great place! Was in Laredo 3 months working, ate here MANY times! Family owned/run. Mgr David hooked me up with free chicken enchiladas on my last night there as a 'thank you' for eating there so often, & that's a first after traveling for the last 9 yrs eating at many places. Food is good quality & excellent value for the price, most items come with 1 or 2 sides & its all the food I could eat in 1 sitting. Brisket & chicken are excellent. Brisket tacos were 1 of my favs, & the brisket/sausage sandwich is a close 2nd, the charro beans are also excellent! Didn't care for the chicken fried chicken, but that's the only thing I didn't care for. Great food, good people, nice interior, highly recommend this place!

The brisket was essentially just the fat scraps, and was under-rendered and under-seasoned. The little bit of actual meat that was included was tough, and seemed boiled or steamed instead of smoked. It also came out cold, which didn't help the flavor. The enchiladas were also flavorless and cold. The cheese wasn't even melted, and seemed old and rubbery. The beans were good enough, but our bowls were 80% juice. The potato salad was, sadly, the bright spot of the dish, but it seemed to be an obscure grocery store offering - not a fresh made restaurant side. The service was dismal, and we weren't checked on at all until I waived over a manager to ask about the "meat" we were served. He offered no apology or fix, and just blew us off. To top off the terrible meal, the bill showed that the menu prices were not honored. Our plates and drinks were all billed higher than shown on their menus. This place has a great concept, but the execution was pitiful. It's a shame that Cotullas has gone so far downhill from what it used to be. There is much better BBQ, and far better Mexican, In this town, for much better prices. We will not be back here, and will let the world know the sad state of affairs here.

My wife and I went here today to have a good night out. We went inside the restaurant and asked…read moreabout the All you can eat menu that they posted on Facebook, and the server confirmed that they do offer that. I've had kbbq many times at various kbbq eateries, so when I tell you this places failed miserably, please believe me. First, the AYCE menu info isn't posted on their menu they give you but they say you can order whatever you want on the menu, except for seafood and hotpot items. You can't do kbbq and hotpot at the same time. Totally understandable, minus the seafood part. Prices for their AYCE menu were not posted....but trust me I'll post it. Keep reading. Anywho, we order the beef bulgogi. Our server starts setting up our table for the hot grill and it's a metal bowl, black in color, does not grill meat well. They bring all these little sides that were okay. Nothing special but standard. The bulgogi was okay, not that great. We also ordered pork belly. The audacity that they bring out 2 thick slices of pork belly for us to grill, FROZEN solid. Just pulled out of the freezer. So we let that thaw out and we ordered the Korean short rib (galbi). This meat typically comes marinated and has high marbling, let me tell you, it came unseasoned, and was probably a commodity cut, it was super tough, nothing tender about it. We also ordered spicy pork belly and that was just okay, really no spicy flavor. They only offered two sauces that were given on a small sauce holder. They only brought out one sauce tray for my wife and I instead of giving us our own. SMH Anyways, it's time to get the check and my wife tells me, " you don't wanna see this." I look at the bill and they charged us $85.00 per person and on top of that they charged us an 18% service fee ($30.00) for ordering off the AYCE menu. It was just the two of us at the table, not 8. Total price was $217.00. This place won't be open for long, especially not at these prices. Prices dont match up to the quality. It was our fault for not asking the price of their AYCE menu, and i promise you that will be the last time that I dont ask for the price before ordering anything at any restaurant. Any other review you see here praising the food of this place has no idea what good Korean food tastes like. This is my service announcement to the city of Laredo, do not waste your money on this establishment.
