The skinny old lady that looks wasted, tired and pissed off all the time, has terrible customer service. She's extremely disrespectful and actually told me to just stop going when I asked her if she could please put more cheese sauce on the enchiladas and showed her a picture of the way it use to be back then with the cheese sauce all the way to the top and a mountain of fries on top of it so it was enough cheese sauce to dip them into and now not only are the prices ridiculously high, the enchiladas there are over priced because they make them all dry and hard not with just a tiny bit of cheese and very little fries, it's not worth it anymore and there's no way to be a hold of the owner to see what's going on. I'm surprised that place hasn't closed down because I've seen so many bad reviews on it especially with the grumpy bitter old ladies that work there, especially that skinny one. Also the big lady that had bright red hair, had messed up on my order, charging me for the plate instead of the basket and still gave me the basket and stayed with my extra money. It's not the best place to eat in the world, I say there's other good options to choose from.. Service was good had to problem at all. There's not that much people tho so honestly it's pretty chill in there nothing fancy at all. 50+ years of history and this is the only location left in LTX. The food is good, and the fries are AMAZING! If you like sloppy greasy homestyle Mexican fries, this is your place. One of my favorite restaurants. It's a small restaurant with plastic tables and chairs that make very loud noises when you move them across the floor, but the food. My favorite is the barbecue brisket sandwich, but the hamburgers and even the tostadas are delicious. And their fries, made from actual cut potatoes, the best. I love supporting small local businesses, and these guys give you a reason to support them. I can't wait to go again. read more

I usually hit up the Glass Kitchen when I'm in Laredo, and always enjoy their BBQ sandwiches, but on this last visit, which was yesterday, the BBQ sandwich was greasy, full of blubber and tasteless. It was truly disgusting. However, the handcut fries were out of sight! I like to get the cheese sauce and dip my greasy fries in them. So unhealthy, but once every few months, it's okay to indulge. They need to improve those BBQ sandwiches, man! read more

So after being recommended to this spot by a friend, I decided to have a nice quick lunch with my mom. She ordered the Cheeseburger and I ordered the BBQ Brisket Burger. My Mother only had half of her burger and didn't even want to eat the rest and my burger had no type of seasonings, it was so bland. I finished mine but the only reason i finished it was because i just paid about 25 dollars for both meals and i didn't want to feel like i just threw my money in the trash, i was also hungry, haha.
