Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.

We had the company install new wrought iron railings on our front steps in Feb '25. They did a very…read morenice job at a fair price but unfortunately there was collateral damage when they cut through piping for my irrigation system to install the concrete footing. I was aware that their contract contains a disclaimer for such events. Nevertheless they offered to fix the damage. About a month later a very nice fellow showed up late one afternoon, took one look at the problem and went off in search of parts. It started raining heavily so he never came back. I mean he NEVER came back. Ever. A few weeks later I decided to fix it myself only to discover that the installers had poured the concrete block AROUND the cut end of the irrigation hose, making it impossible to use to install a replacement head. Instead I had to spend much time and effort digging a semicircular trench to find the other end in order to repair the system. I understand that stuff happens, but this was sloppy and unavoidable. And what happened to that first repair guy after the company offered to fix it? We have nice railings now but the whole thing was a headache.
