I just wanted to take time out to praise the excellent work of Nick Rose and his business partner…read morefrom Rose Landscaping and Construction.  They did an absolutely amazing job of transforming our backyard from weeds and dirt to a lawn of beautiful Kentucky Bluegrass.  They also put in an eye-pleasing pine mulch bed under our evergreen trees where he felt grass would be difficult to survive.  Granted we have a small backyard but they were able to do this work in just two business days.  Nick is very honest in what his service can and can't provide.  He has a great, relaxed personality and the prices were reasonable.  Early on, he told me that he was shooting for the last week in April to get the work done and he was right on target.  I'm sure others have had great experiences with Rose Landscaping and Construction too, so please feel free to chime in.  Obviously I highly recommend Rose Landscaping and Construction.  You just can't go wrong, believe me. Ever since we switched to Pemberton Garden Services, the front yard came back to life.. They are constantly here pruning, cleaning up and curating the greeneries. On the day of the job, Rudy and Marlin worked tirelessly for 3 1/2 hours and got a tremendous amount done - trimming multiple hedges and bushes, cutting back an almost dead lilac, power washing the patio (it looks as good as it did 15 years ago when it was installed), cleaning moss, etc. off the garage roof (hadn't been cleaned since I got the house 30+ years ago), cutting up and removing a fallen branch, and power washing a basketball backboard that I wasn't even sure could be reached. They did an excellent job on everything. I couldn't say enough about how great they were!

I wish I could recommend Edgar and Sons! He was a nice man!…read more However, after many follow up calls to the owner due to an incomplete job, I was told by his assistant that he was "too busy" to call me back. Ultimately, the job we agreed to with contract was not done to completion, in spite of the assistant's insistence that it was. The owner was not on the job EITHER day and this is important. While the crew came back to attempt to complete the original job ( we appreciated that!), the owner was not there. The result was that the job is currently STILL not what we agreed upon. The owner is not willing to return to finish it. Caveat emptor...just know that if the job is not done according to agreement, you will have trouble reaching the owner and it will not be made right.
