Impressed and then some!…read more A bit skeptical, as it was under new management, but Senõr Carrera and his partner, the chef, took such great care of us and did an AMAZING job from presentation to flavor to making us feel welcome and appreciated. (Disclaimer: Please overlook any gringa estupida Spanglish grammar errors.) Gracias amigos! This place is a hidden GEM. The prices were off-the-charts reasonable and the lobsters were HUGE! Being from the Midwest, mì amigas lobsters would've been close to double, if not more, what we paid. It's not those tiny tails like you get at red lobster either, that jumbo shrimp rival for size. These lobsters were legit! I've seen smaller chihuahuas... We had a party of 6 and no one complained about a single dish, flavor, spice, drink. Sr. Mauricio was fun and attentive. Guacamole was good. Calamari was amazing! Please get it. Best several of us has ever eaten. Not over cooked and spongy. Just fantastico. Perfecto! Get in a taxi and go there. Now. Then go again. Your stomach AND pocketbook will having a full on fiesta! It's colorful and has murals and is just a beautiful experience. We have 3 more days here and we might even go again. We will see what the universe tells us we need in México! Olé!

I believe our waiters name was Maio(?) very friendly and attentive and personable. Claudio's Place is a must when visiting PV. We'll definitely be going back!

We enjoyed our meal of pear salad, octopus grilled and steak. All prepared well. My only disappointment was we felt the plates came so fast...timing. We barely finished our salad and the entrees were delivered. We will return.

Tried the tasting menu with drink pairing and couldn't have been happier!…read moreTL;DR: Go for the full tasting menu with the drink pairings Amuse (4/5): a mushroom creation from the kitchen that was topped with a little bit of microgreens. Really surprised by the texture of the mushroom but could've used more of the greens and accent sauce Aguachile (4.5/5): delicious with varied textures - only complaint was that the avocados were a little brown and overripe Tomato salad (3.5/5): not too creative nor memorable but still yummy Octopus taco (4/.5/5): the octopus was perfectly crispy and flavors were well-balanced with the lime and pickled onions. Only knock is the tortilla was a little too oily for my liking Beef tenderloin (5/5) vs Tuna steak (4.5/5) - MVPs: Both of these main proteins were delicious and made even more so by the jalapeno gremolata. Usually I prefer fish but the beef was really perfectly cooked and more filling so slight nod to the beef Avo ice cream (4/5): Not to say it was bad but this dessert definitely looks prettier than it tastes. Although the avocado taste didn't come out in the ice cream, the crumble was a great addition to both texture and flavor. Not pictured (5/5): perfectly paired drinks :) Definitely a pricier meal than other local options but for a celebratory dinner, the value is 100% there! Service (5+/5): Staff was absolutely on their game and truly catered to everything we needed We'll absolutely be back Salud, Loma42!

Second time here while in Vallarta, and it won't be my last. If you're in the area and craving…read morequality seafood, Titi's is the spot. Pro tip: It's cash only, so make sure you have pesos or dollars on hand before you roll in. My absolute favorite here is the Pulpo Zarandeado--perfectly grilled octopus, packed with smoky, savory goodness. The Callo de Hacha Tostada (scallop tostada) is another standout, fresh and full of flavor. And don't sleep on the soup--it's rich, comforting, and totally worth it, even on a hot day. Just pair it with an ice-cold beer, and you're set. Highly recommended for any seafood lover passing through! We took an uber here.

It's steet parking and CASH ONLY at this place They specialize in seafood dishes and we started with their coconut shrimp (the call cockroach shrimp, ha!). They shrimp were huge. Our seemed like maybe they were overcooked just a little. Regardless, they were still good! We also tried their Zarandeondo Mahi Mahi. This was a very tasty preparation of the fillet covered in a delicious sauce mixed with vegetables. It could have used a little more fillet though. Regardless, we definitely liked it...just wished we had more! My buddy complimented his meal with a Coke while I down a couple beers. But ordered up a couple beers. But we did both order up a shot of anejo tequila. There's a couple big screen TVs and this is an outside dining area (no AC if that's what you require). It's just street parking too. Best thing about this place are the prices...our two fish orders, two beers, a soda, and two shots...under $50 with tip!
