Happened across this on the street taco stand just as the Puerto Vallarta Eats food tour showed up. Woman owned business. Make their tortillas throughout the day on the spot. Also shredding cabbage as a topping which I prefer but see it is not every reviewers preference. Toppings were fresh and tasty. Our party of 5 with two picky children were very happy with the food as a quick lunch option. Seats are arranged around the stand and also on the sidewalk. Busy with lots of locals. American tacos. Cons: Two words I can describe the quality of the tacos. Currently on a trip around the country and if you're looking for something authentic with a lot of flavor in the meat this is not it. Grilled doesn't mean cooked on the grill here. Fish was bland and so was the shrimp. Flour tortillas were nice but average though I prefer corn. Cabbage is the topping which is ok. I'd like the traditional cilantro and onions. Food wasn't worth the picture. Pros: But hands down some of the best sauce. They're made fresh and from there and you can taste it. Read about this place and saw Youtubes on this place, so had to try this place once I was here in PV. It was a bit out of the way but it was a nice walk down cobblestone roads. I ordered a fish taco to try and these are not prepared until you order them, so it took a bit of time. I then ordered the guava hibiscus drink to go along with the taco. They make their own tortillas that are larger than the store bought ones to accommodate the size of the battered fried fish. It came piping hot with shredded cabbage and one adds all the accomplishments that you want; lemon, the chipotle crema, and a choice of salsas. The owner will guide you should you need help. All in all was a good experience but it did not compare to the original Ensenada fish taco. Maybe I was not very hungry yet from breakfast but I was near by. I will give it another try next time I am here. The big plus was the homemade piping hot tortilla. read more

Fish/shrimp to batter ratio is off. It's all batter. I opened up a shrimp taco and all there was was one shrimp split down the middle with the tip of the tail connected. It was spread out length wise and then covered with batter. So just to clarify...you get ONE shrimp per taco. The fish was thin inside and again just all batter. Not the greatest place to go. If you like seasoned bread I guess it's good, but definitely not worth it. There are other places in the area with better fish tacos who don't skimp on the protein. We also ordered two smoothies, but it was melted. Also one of the servers was really rude. We had a question on which was the fish taco and which was the shrimp because they looked the same (again all batter) and she rolled her eyes at us as if we were bothering her. Never going back to this place. Look elsewhere this spot isn't any good. read more

This location is by the Marina. I was told that these are the best Fish Tacos you can get in the Jalisco area and these are what I think about when I think of fish tacos. They use only fresh made white corn tortillas. Fresh Maui Maui is used and carefully smoked Marlin.with some very fresh cabbage salad. Part of what makes these tacos unique are the home made sauces that go with them. On the carefully smoked Marlin you might only want to use the avocado sauce. On the fish tacos you might want the unique almost Asian brown Onion one. They have at least 4 other sauces to pick from. You can also eat at their street cart location. I yelped to find a really good fish taco and it took me here. I was somewhat disappointed in the fish and shrimp taco. I think it was the batter, It was kind of chewy. The shrimp was also over fried. The combo smoothie was very good. I found it kind of strange that when the bill came, it was not itemized. I asked for it to be itemized since we ordered a lot of food but the language barrier prevent me from getting my thoughts to the waitress. I did do a quick addition and it seemed closer to the the total. I do not think they we untrustworthy. read more

These are seriously the BEST seafood tacos in town!!! There is this location which is basically a food cart as well as an actual restaurant in the Marina. Super clean and the food is fresher than fresh. Love all of the sauces and salsas, and the fries are some the best I have ever tasted. Go you will not be disappointed! read more

My boyfriend found this spot thats hidden across La Cevicheria but don't go there that place is poop . When you go to Marisma you must try the breaded fish taco and the shrimp breaded taco super delicious and sprinkle some sauces there so delicious while you are ordering this you must get the piña colada, be warned they creep up on you ...... my first time here in puerto Vallarta thanks to my boyfriend who brought me here witch is super beautiful and so glad that he found this spot, because so far everywhere we've been only one spot was good, next time we come out here again will sure come back to this. if you guys don't try this then idk what's wrong with you .... read more

My second trip down here I found this place staying at the Marriott which is walking distance. Found this place was skeptical at first but when I tried the deep fried fish and shrimp tacos WOW. Very unassuming little place but every taco we tried here was great! the grilled fish was my favorite. Fast, friendly service.

This is a great place to catch a quick bite. I recommend the ceviche tostada. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt.

STREET TACOS: Great fish tacos. Our original place in old town next to fish markets (el calamar Aventurero ) closed!! We were on a mission! I had the fried tacos which were very good but next time I will have 1 grilled and 1 fried. Large piece of Mahi (not Marlin) in each taco with shredded cabbage. Nice sauces available: green cilantro, picoo de gallo, red chili (spicy-hot :O), crema , marinated onions. No beer here, get beer at market across street. Location kind of out of the way.
