Everything was super delicious! They give a lot of food!!! Best queso fundido I've had! Oscar was so attentive and nice!!! The lemonade and margaritas were to die for! Nice hole in the wall!

This little spot was right by my Airbnb and I've ran by it so many times. My boyfriend and I finally decided to stop by and try it. We were so glad we did! It's really a family-run business. It almost feels like you're eating at someone's home. The menu was written on a whiteboard (and probably changes occasionally, or maybe even daily)--I love that! I couldn't decide on what to order because I wanted to try everything. Luckily, there's an option for that! The lady who took our order (presumably the owner) offered us the "Mexican Platter" which had a bit of everything on it--think of it as a sampler. It included: sope, gordita, taco dorado, tostada, pozole, and enchilada. It was plenty for two people to share! It was only 120 pesos! Since we were hungry, after we tried all those items, we picked out our favorite and ordered more. My boyfriend ordered 3 tacos dorados and I ordered 4 sopes. 4 sopes was 60 pesos. We also ordered a horchata. In total we spent about $8 USD. Worth it? Totally. It's truly nothing fancy and nothing absolutely mind-blowing good, but definitely authentic and great for the price. I would recommend stopping by if you get the chance. Wonderful family-owned restaurant and cheap eats!

I had the chilaquiles, which were tasty. I loved the orange juice, which I desperately needed after walking 15 minutes in the Mexican summer to get here. I showed up a super sweaty mess but I wanted to get away form the resort for a while. Portions were huge and I didn't even finish half, but had to let the rest go. My meal came with toast and butter which I didn't even touch. I think with a beverage, tax, and tip, the meal was less than $6 USD. Crazy cheap. Oh, I also took the horchata to go, but it was way too sweet for me.

Mexican food, cash only in American or Mexican dollars. Always 2 for 1 on something- drinks, fajitas or whatever...I had posole, husband had fajitas. Posole was so-so, rather bland. Had to ask for the tortillas to go with fajitas. Not terribly impressed! Maybe Monday's a bad night?

Great local food and Mexican versions of typical American staples. Menu is available in English. Just coming up to their one year anniversary. As all Mexican restaurants staff are super friendly and very funny. Food was great, everything we had. Pancakes, waffles, French toast and a couple of local specials. See my pictures.

This place was recommended by one of the bartenders at our resort....so we went with two other families for dinner. The food was not memorable...meaning they really didn't make great impression. They're just mediocre.... Fish tacos were pretty good!!! Prices were pretty cheap...but I think the tacos at OXXO would taste better. Found out later that this restaurant is known for their breakfasts and not dinner.

    Great food must stop by

Will have to try this for breakfast. Dinner was bland and nothing I'd order again. Nice atmosphere & good cocktail though.

It's one of the few places to get a good pozole in Nuevo Vallarta, loaded with meat and hominy and in a delicious spicy red broth.

(Disclaimer: Please overlook any gringa estupida Spanglish grammar errors.) Gracias amigos! This place is a hidden GEM. The prices were off-the-charts reasonable and the lobsters were HUGE! Being from the Midwest, mì amigas lobsters would've been close to double, if not more, what we paid. It's not those tiny tails like you get at red lobster either, that jumbo shrimp rival for size. These lobsters were legit! I've seen smaller chihuahuas... We had a party of 6 and no one complained about a single dish, flavor, spice, drink. Sr. Mauricio was fun and attentive. Guacamole was good. Calamari was amazing! Please get it. Best several of us has ever eaten. Not over cooked and spongy. Just fantastico. Perfecto! Get in a taxi and go there. Now. Then go again.
