Zeus is a senior dog who rarely had his nails cut due to the anxiety, stress, and aggression it causes. Today's nail trim was a success. I can't thank them enough! We will definitely be going back to Head to Tail Grooming. Highly recommend them!

I've lived in upstate NY and moved to MN 3 years ago and it's been the same in both states. In fact, check up appointments are significantly cheaper here in MN than in NY. How is the vet supposed to make money? Just through the markup of the medications, vaccines and products they sell? It's a business...not a charity. Having said that, I've been taking my dog to Rum River for 3 years now and have never had a problem. They are great about getting him in on short notice if need be and the staff has always been very pleasant. Even my dog loves them and what dog loves going to the vet? We've had services done ranging from dental surgery/cleanings to tumor removal to vaccinations and routine check ups. They have always been very thorough and explained things well. They even call up afterward to check to see how he's doing. I'd recommend Rum River to anyone looking for a vet. In fact, I just sent my neighbor there last week!

I gave a 4-star review and Mary was not happy about it. She reached out to me inquiring why it was not 5. I was feeling bullied into giving a 5. I told her how my dogs love it there and I thought 4 was a good rating.... We had an exchange and I could go into details, but again, I won't. I don't feel the need to smear somebody and be petty online. I told her I was going to have to think about bringing them back because of how I was being treated but not that I wasn't going to. She basically referred me to other places and cancelled my info and will not allow me to log in. If anyone wants to reach out to me privately, feel free and I will explain further. This note has NOTHING to do with the staff. They were great. Owner was very unprofessional. I was extremely surprised at this. Thank you to all the staff who have loved on my babies. :)

UPDATE: July 2018 My bunny Chloe broke her leg and I brought her to this hospital for care because of positive past experiences. I'm so happy I brought her here because this place has been amazing to her and my family. The veterinarians were up front with Chloe's care and probability of surviving surgery, and discussed options with my spouse and I with tenderness and honesty. Dr. Blum provided meticulous research and took the time to discuss options many times with our family. Dr. Nevo amputated Chloe's broken leg successfully, a surgery that isn't performed as often as dogs and cats. Seriously, you should see the xray, y'all. She's a pro amongst pros. When Chloe's incision became infected (due to its location that's difficult to keep clean) Dr. Duke provided the most ginger and tender care to my bunny, who was scared and in pain but didn't fight because she felt safe under his care. The real MVP of this clinic and Chloe's care is Veterinarian Technician Brooke H. From the moment we brought Chloe in for her leg, Brooke provided the utmost care and love to Chloe. She also went above and beyond to ensure we had timely updates of Chloe's surgery and aftercare. As many things in life go, Chloe's leg break came at a difficult time for our family. Brooke was the divine intervention we and Chloe needed to care for her injury. I wish I had a big sack of money to give her lol! Chloe is so special to our family and I'm so thankful for this hospital. They continue to show great concern for the quality of life of both 2- and 4-legged, and in Chloe's case 3-legged, creatures on this Earth. Special shout out to Jenna at the front desk - she is knowledgeable in pets, always kind and accommodating, and quick with a smile and laugh. I appreciate you, too!
