Credit where credit is due. I had a bad experience last night and write my truth about Riko's Pizza in Tequesta, Fl. HOWEVER, there's more to the story. I am writing today because Amanda one of the Owner's of Riko's took the time to reach out to me twice today to a- Explain why my pizza was so spicy. It's because I ordered it with hot oil and they infuse the oil with pepper. If I had looked further on their website they do say that the hot oil pizza is infused with peppers. I don't do well with pepper. I love supporting local business and especially when an owner manager or server understand that in the food business it's not just about the cuisine and ambiance but also communication. Amanda did a great thing by not only reaching out to me but looking up past orders and getting to know "me" the customer. She has written me twice today and offered to give me a pizza with no charge next time I order. I told her it means more to me knowing that I am dealing with an owner who cares about the customer. Bravo Riko's. I won't take a free anything that's was not what I was looking for. I just wanted to know how to order so that I don't get the pepper taste. Andrew S read more

I'm a pizza lover and I've been to a lot of pizza places. I would say 100% best pizza spot in all of Florida. And if it's not, it's definitely a must try pizza if your in Jupiter, especially if you enjoy thin crust. Customer service: Fire. The Food: FIRE. Ambience: Clean, welcoming, and relaxing After a nice conversation while picking up my order, they left me with a piece of pie to try (on the house ) Which I would have never gone for but even that was unreal how good it was. I can not recommend this pizza, I ordered a pepperoni- hard to mess that up. When I opened the box, it did not look like any pizza I have ever seen. The crust was extremely greasy and stale like a wet cracker, what sparse sauce and cheese it had - had no taste at all. Absolutely horrible- I actually never knew Pizza could be this bad. I have to say, it's the first time I have ever thrown one in the trash. The people were very nice, hopefully they can make some changes. read more

They have an amazing gluten free crust that any of their pizzas can be made on! As someone who has to eat gluten free (not by choice) it is always gold to find a place that has great GF substitutes. Love this spot. One of our favorite new neighborhood joints. I get a couple cheese pies every week. My wife loves the Jolly Rancher drink. They have a full liquor bar, great salads, and signature pizza that isn't really available anywhere near here. a lot of celebrity pizza influencers rave about their pizza. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have TVs with sports on and a large dining area and they have outdoor seating. Tonight, my wife and I each got a cheese pie, she got the Jolly Rancher drink and we enjoyed it while watching hockey and wrestling. We had a lot of fun. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas for take out and ended up throwing most of it away. Tasted like oily cardboard with a smear of tomato sauce and toppings. I've had better frozen supermarket pizza and certainly cheaper than the $40 spent on this oily cardboard. read more

If you like very thin crust bar pies, this is the spot! Like crushed red pepper on your pizza, skip that and get a hot oil pie. The chicken wings with the Riko's sauce were excellent!! Good beer selection too for a small place. We are addicted and will continue our habit. read more

Rikos is a great spot for good food and watching sports. They have a lot of great tvs and are happy to put on your game. My husband loves the honey hot pizza and my daughter loved her mini pigs in a blanket! Very friendly staff. read more

Salad and Pizza were quite delicious. The service was completely lacking. Restaurant was fairly empty. Sat at the bar. Spouse and I ordered glasses of wine. One glass served quickly. Five minutes later the second glass showed up. Bar tender was not busy between at the time. Salads arrived. Had to ask for silverware. Pizza arrived. Had to ask for plates. People we sat with at the bar had visited a couple of times. Good sign since the place opened just a month or so. They mentioned, unsolicited, that they always had to ask for these items. Great food. Love this pizza and the antipasto salad. Had no idea about it before trying for the first time. We go with the hot oil pizza as it is what they are known for and it never disappoints. Growing up in CT I always felt like finding great pizza in FL was the one thing I could never get. I was so happy to hear that Riko's was coming to town! I love the hot oil pizza and really enjoy the thin crust since it is not as "heavy" as more traditional pizzas. The pizza is a little small for the price but you're getting all pizza. There is no big doughy hunk of crust around the outside. The toppings go out to the very edge. So picture this pizza with 1 to 2 inches of un-topped crust around the outside edge and you'd have your normal "large size pizza". The crust is super thin and nice and crunchy. Toppings are a bit sparse, but sufficient and tasty. Service was excellent. Very good salads too. Give it a try. Support your local restaurants. read more

My family and I were very excited to try this pizza place. I can honestly say this was the worst pizza I have ever eat. The bottom of both pizzas were very burnt. The pizza was flavorless and all you can taste is burnt crust. Save your money and go to one of the other local pizza joints. Over prized for what you get. read more
