I had to postpone from the original date, as the drywall installation wasn't complete. In spite of the additional time (7 data) they said the carpet was back ordered and would not even ship to the wholesaler for 2 more weeks. They asked that I go to their wholesaler and choose a new carpet. The only carpet that was similar and in stock was a much lesser quality and the warranty was 7 years instead of 25 years. However, they wanted to charge me the same amount as the original carpet order. I canceled the agreement and requested a refund. They've not refunded my deposit ($2500) in spite of several requests. I've filed a dispute with American Express. Ironically, I'm having the same carpet from the wholesaler installed by another company, removal, carpet and pad for $1600 less than RENEW FLOORING was charging me.
