In my opinion, a quality coffee shop is simple and leads with espresso brewed really well where the taste of coffee shines through. Whipped cream, Black Forest Cake, and Cabin Fever mask coffee in my opinion, but many would and should disagree with me. To prove my point, I ordered an iced Aztec latte. I have a sweet tooth, but this was way too sweet. I literally couldn't taste the coffee through all the noise. Again, some people may love this place if flavored coffee is your thing. Before browsing the store, I ordered a chicken, bacon, provolone and ranch dressing crepe from the creperie station. This was a first-time experience for me. The hefty crepe was ordered to-go. Thirty minutes later, upon arrival home, not only did the creation look and smell scrumptious, the taste and textures were out of this world! It is now impossible for me to stop at this delightful shop without ordering a crepe for take-out or dine in.
