After convincing the AAA dispatcher that both Arivaca and Amado are actual places, Bill from Luna's showed up with his flatbed and a jump box. We figured the alternator was shot and, considering that I had a U-haul trailer with all of my plunder and two dogs in the cab, Bill devised a plan to nurse the truck to their shop. They were kind enough to let me roll out my bedroll out front for the night, and when Bill and Jessie (the owner) got to work just after sunrise, Bill had a thermos of that lifesaving nectar, coffee. That bit alone was above and beyond, but they had the alternator replaced and me up and running before nine this morning. These are good guys and they run a tight ship, if you are stuck or just need work done on your rig in the Santa Cruz Valley, look for Luna's!

Their call resulted in the "qoute" going up $40. I was sure so I said I call them back. I called back not even 5 minutes later and said oh now now we're getting slammed we can't do it until later. I asked how much longer and they wouldn't say. So I said I'd go else where and left a review to reflect my experience. A reputable company would have left it there, but not this place. Within a minute they immediately reached out to harass me and sent walls and walls of texts over hours. I thought they were so busy right? Apparently they have plenty of time harass people who turned them down between all that not towing they were doing . I should really thank them though. Chris had expressed he would like to earn my business and said he would match their pricing if I would commit to using him. We discussed payment and after finding out there would be a $40 fee for card I told him i would not be doing that and could do Venmo or business check and we had mutually agreed on Venmo. We scheduled for first thing this morning and he picks the truck up late around 1pm. He texts me when he gets to the shop we were paying to have the truck hauled to and requests we get him paid while he's still there. It's not working because apparently his account is not set up completely ... his response is "weird" and nothing more. My husband tries setting up to leave work and meet him with cash on his way back to his shop as the shop he had taken it to was about an hour past where my husband was at in Marana and Sierra Towing is in Tucson so it would be on the way. At this point Chris is just not responding to anyone. I try calling several times and receive a text saying he is hooking it up and impounding it at his yard. The experience we had could not have been more unprofessional. I would HIGHLY recommend going with Barnett's before giving yourself and unnecessary headache with this company. My husband has had a trucking company for several years and has dealt with many tow companies. Not one experience as awful as with this company. Disappointing Service and Billing Practices…read more My family has spent thousands of dollars with this business, but our recent experience was the final straw. We were charged over $300 for an inspection related to an issue that had already been documented and discussed with staff in 2024. We had previously decided not to pursue the repair due to the cost, yet we were still charged for a diagnosis of a known problem. When we raised our concerns, the owner offered several explanations and only provided a partial credit, which we found unacceptable. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. In the past, we were charged more after incorrect parts were ordered for a repair, and on another occasion a quoted price changed when we arrived to pick up the vehicle. Based on our experiences, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.
