Once they confirmed the arrival, we came to this location since it needed calibration and was greeted by Tricia, who was really friendly, helpful and professional. She knew my parents from setting up the appointment, and was super helpful when I came to drop the vehicle off. Said she would call when it was completed, and sure enough the estimated time was on the dot. Michael was the technician that replaced the windshield and he did a great job too. I wondered if the Peach Pass and I-pass from IL would be transferred, and it was handled as if I put new ones on! Michael was also very kind to my parents, and that always gives me a comforting feeling since they're elderly. I was very happy with everything. We were touch late with traffic when picking up the car. Ian (the manager) and Tricia were both still there, waiting for us. Didn't give any grief, was so pleasant to deal with this entire situation. They direct billed our auto insurance so we paid our comp deductible and we were on our way. Nobody is ever in a good mood when you have a crack, chip, or need a replacement windshield. However, this location made it pleasant to go thru this, and helpful enough to remind me to go back if I never need anything done. Super grateful to the team here! I needed the windshield replaced on my Dodge Charger. This would be my second windshield in a year,…read morethanks to another rock tossed by a truck. The first time I had my local dealer do the replacement, as it was convenient since I was having other work done as well. This time, I just needed a windshield, so I decided to shop around. All body shops always farm out windshields anyways to companies that specialize in glass replacement. My dealer had charged my $330. All my friends said to go with Safelite so I requested a quote and got $275. I went looking further and found AGA. They gave me a quote over the phone of $199! I was skeptical, but immediately set up an appointment. The tech came on time the next day, keeping me informed of his approximate ETA. The windshield was not the same brand that is used by Dodge as OEM, but who cares? It was actually better, b/c it comes tinted on the top, saving me the trouble of having to go to a separate tinting place later. As long as you can live with a small QR code in the bottom corner, than it's fine. It took only about an hour, and the job was done professionally. The best part of AGA is that they come to you. Most body shops require you to leave the car for a day. Probably it's b/c the silicone takes a day to fully harden and cure, and they don't want you ruining the work. I was told to leave the windows cracked so that the internal air pressure would not damage the seal when closing the door. That was a minor inconvenience compared to the major inconvenience of having to be without my car for a day. Plus, it saves me the time and gas of having to drive to their shop. All in, AGA did a fantastic job, saved me a heap of trouble by coming to me, and all for a price that could not be beat. Obviously, I hope to never need their services again, but should the worst happen, I will not hesitate to call AGA.

I've had a similar experience to two other reviewers. While attempting to merge (with plenty of…read moreroom) in front of their driver, they slammed on the gas and forced me to swerve out of the lane to avoid a collision. A few minutes later, they abruptly cut me off and almost forced me off the road. Afterwards, they continued to drive aggressively and erratically, creating an unsafe environment. This was extremely dangerous and unprofessional, especially in a company van. As someone with multiple old cars, I will almost certainly need glass repair and replacement in the near future, but I will never patronize this unprofessional and inconsiderate business.

But as the Internet is a thing I quickly learned that many people have not had such great experiences with a certain company with a catchy jingle. After a little research I came across Todd's company Axis Auto Glass. After a little more research I found reviews on Yelp as well as reviews on other sites all espousing the good work that Todd does with auto glass repair and replacement. Being someone who thoroughly detests talking on the phone I emailed Todd about replacing my cars windshield. Within the span of 4 emails and maybe 40 minutes I had an appointment for him to come to my house to replace my window. He arrived about 10 minutes before his scheduled appointment time. As someone who believes that if you arrive on time then you're 5 minutes late, I really appreciate Todd's promptness. He set straight away to replacing my windshield and needed nothing further from me until he had completed the job. Todd gives a warranty on his work and is very reasonably priced. You can tell he takes pride in his work and his business. I always prefer to support a local business and Todd and Axis Auto Glass make that an easy decision. If you find yourself with a chip or cracked window you can do no better that giving Todd a call.

He was half the price of Safelite, even though my insurance will reimburse my cost for glass repairs. He is friendly, knowledgable and affordable! I only wish I had called him 6 months earlier when my Jaguar had a similar issue. A different glass repair company, referred by my auto insurance, told me it could not be repaired and I had to replace the windshield. So I unknowingly replaced the expensive windshield with no insurance assistance.
