His instructions for care were very clear, he seemed more than accommodating to have me come back in if I ran into any issues (I haven't), and my piercing is starting to heal nicely after a week. I came with some friends and while the staff was really nice, I should have ran after I saw how fast he worked on my friends. This is a permanent process and I think a little more time would have helped everyone have nicer tattoos. My tattoo is terrible. It's the worst of the three. I asked for what I thought was a simple line job and I some lettering and it's just a hot mess. I brought a picture and the exact font I wanted. I don't think I can even fix it. The lettering is not right below the other lettering as I asked- it's cockeyed. It has been less than 24 hours and I've already scheduled laser removal. I would rather suffer the pain of removal and scarring than go around for the rest of my life with this hot mess

Sergio is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! He talks with the entire family. He's patient and takes his time. He also takes a good amount of time explaining how to care for the piercing and why. My daughter shed a few tears with the piercing but as soon as she looked in the mirror and saw her new earrings the tears went away! I always recommend Sergio to my mom friends when they ask for piercing recommendations. He's seriously the best in Fairfield county!

Meet Katherine Elizabeth (KE)- the badass with the steady hands and a heart of gold. Tucked in the…read moreback of Skin City Tattoo on Broadway in Kingston, NY, KE's piercing studio is more than just a space. Think cozy nook meets pink-covered table to lay down+funky charm and completely professional. It's the kind of spot that puts you at ease fast, whether you're getting your first piercing or your tenth. I'm usually not the type to follow other people's fashion or styling sense- but there's one influencer I was drawn to. Not because she has a bohemian vibe (ok, yes) but her content is inspiring and bold. And when she got her daith, I said to myself, "well, it's not a tattoo nor will I have a piercing on my face" (no offense to anyone). So a daith it was! When I began reading up on piercers in my area, KE won. She's fierce at what she does and a true expert who knows a woman's body like a freaking book. Oh...and she's funny as hell! Since I'm new to a daith piercing, she took care of me real good. She was gentle and knew exactly how to make my piercing experience smooth and fun. Whether you start with a classic U-shaped barbell or go for a sleek hoop like I did with a diamond-edge sparkle, because hey... style matters, KE will help you through it all. And the jewelry? Let's just say your options aren't basic. From titanium to rose gold, tiny studs to bold hoops, she has a range of styles and metals that match every vibe. So yes, my piercing is great- but the experience was even better. And let's be clear- KE doesn't play when it comes to safety. She's always gloved up, every tool sanitized, every surface spotless. I felt totally confident that I was in a clean and professional space where safety came on top. Aside from the daith piercing, I also changed an existing top piercing with a compression black onyx(?) stud that I totally fell in love with. When everything was said and done with the two earrings, the daith piercing and a saline piercing mist, $162 was worth it. She takes appointments but walk-ins are totally cool too. If you're ready to get pierced by someone who just gets it, KE's your girl.
