I was referred to Brightfield by another local electrician. He only services a particular…read moreneighborhood in the city so he gave me John's number and said he highly recommend him. The treasurer of my condo association called Brightfield and Tim called her back. Tim scheduled an appointment for the following week and arrived on time with an entire crew. They'd (Tim & three other guys) just finished a job in the area so they all came over just in case they were needed. That was unexpected and definitely didn't go unnoticed. It told me Tim was serious about his business and was willing to go above the call of duty to serve his customers. Tim and his crew diagnosed our issue quickly and told us how to remedy it. It turned out to be an issue for Comed to solve, but Tim offered some advice on how to handle the Comed employees if they were resistant to making another service call. Tim examined our electrical equipment and told us our setup was top of the line. He took the time to explain why we might be having that particular set of issues and exactly what Comed needed to do to fix it. I found Tim to be professional, efficient, personable and highly knowledgeable. My condo association plans to use Brightfield whenever we need an electrician. The service fee was $75 which I found extremely reasonable.

I reached out to one technician. They charged an unbelievably low price. I then called Leo from Kai Electric to price shop. Leo picked up and was very nice on the phone. Through a series of unfortunate events, it became very clear to me that Leo was right. The first guy was unserious and unprofessional. I called Leo back. He had previously advised that I would be without power for approximately 6 hours to replace the panel. I was out for exactly six hours. He and his workers were friendly, efficient, and professional. He even installed a GFCI outlet, which was something that we found during his work and not previously quoted. I have a Tesla and will be calling Kai Electric back out to install my EV charger.
