However, two years after spending over $30K on two new units, the experience is beyond disappointing. Within 2 years after installation, we discovered several major shortcuts taken by the installers: they failed to install a safety switch (which led to a leak and ceiling damage) and didn't install the correct breaker for the unit. Each of these led to costs for us to repair. Now, we are dealing with a faulty coil and another $1500 repair bill. The most disappointing part is the lack of accountability. We shared all this information with Dave. It took 2 days to return a call then another week for him to say they wouldn't do anything to make it right. Instead they simply said we should have called them for repairs. Well when the ceiling is leaking, or the house is hot you call who can be there in 15 minutes. Not a company that will call back later. They may be nice people, but based on my experience, they don't stand by their work and their installation quality is poor. You would think local installers would understand that doing the right thing will always pay dividends. Apparently not in this case.

Imagine our surprise when we found water dripping when it ran. We tried calling the competitor who supposedly has 24/7 emergency service Friday at 4:20pm; not a single reply from our message left. After calling again this morning and receiving the same radio silence, we tried giving Frank's a call to see if they could help us. From start to finish, service was fantastic. Iris helped get us registered in the system and promised to call us back with an update in 5 minutes. She did exactly that. Julien was out in record time and found the other company never replaced the old pump, which is why there was flooding. He got it replaced and even tightened a pipe the other guys left loose. We are so thankful they both offer and actually do have weekend emergency services. Thank you for getting us back in service.

They charged me about $700 and fixed nothing and then when I had someone come back to fix that original problem he tried to charge me another $4000 and I said, "Absolutely not..." You are only here to fix the problem the last technician failed to even diagnose, let alone resolve. He got nasty with me, and I told him to leave my home. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I tried to resolve this with their customer service, but they tried to force me into retracting my very accurate review and sign an NDA that I wouldn't disclose how horrible their service is. I declined and decided to dispute it with my credit card instead... Everyone should know to stay away from this overpriced, incompetent company. They may send someone out the same day. I was given an outrageous quote for $9,551.00 from ARS Rescue Rooters after their Home Depot $19 Tune Up (yeah I fell right into that one!) To the rescue, came Scott Harris of Harris Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Scott and his loyal crew Dalton and Jerome are professional and, despite installing the new one in the hot sun, they did a fantastic job, and with a joke and a smile. Personally, I think I saved myself a lot of trouble. You can trust Scott. He kinda reminds me of my brother -- because he does right by the customer.
