Great to work with an organization that enables all of the involved care-givers and key family members to present a unified team during those tough moments that require calm and an integrated plan. And we greatly appreciate the extra touches like music therapy.

My young caregiver, Galilea was not only accommodating my needs but great at following directions. She made my recovery less trying because of she assisted me. She was very helpful and positive to schedule changes and taking me to physical therapy appointments. I have recommended Visiting Angels to family and friends. I will use them again if I am in need of care.

The staff is wonderful, the owner is there almost every day. They are on top of mom's care and physical needs. I noticed mom's phone was away from her chair, I asked them if it could be moved next to her, it was done in ten minutes. The other facility made me ask for three weeks, several calls, numerous staff and they still didn't do it. I was fed up with the inept care mom seem to be getting. Once we moved her we found numerous issues on her body. Waterleaf has been wonderful, I can't praise them enough. They call us and keep us informed of any changes. I keep pinching myself, it is such a dramatic change. This is a wonderful place!

Family owned, very low staff turnover, very clean, reasonably priced and great neighborhood. My mom has a private room with a private bathroom and patio. The residents are great and so is the staff. The activities are good too: ceramics, flower arrangement, live music weekly, games, daily exercise, and more. My mom is always clean, well cared for, socially stimulated, and treated great.

During a time when so many families are involuntarily estranged by COVID-19 restrictions, I really grappled with the grim possibility that my wonderful mom, ravaged by cancer, would spend her final days alone in a hospital. I jumped at the chance to care for her at home when the oncologist uttered the phrase "palliative care," a phrase I dreaded as I had relented quietly to myself as the next logical step. Blossom Ridge facilitated everything, from transport to furnishing the bed, medications, and equipment. I can't emphasize enough how exceptional hospice nurses and home health aides are. As savvy a medical pro as my husband is, there were times he admitted some things were just above his punching weight, and the nurses never hesitated to provide guidance during those dark days. I was able to spend my mom's final moments by her side, and Blossom Ridge made that possible.

He quickly understood how easily my body reacts & was careful not to stir things up, while at the same time presenting ways to strengthen it. He has shown me, often in little ways, things to do to ease pain, that no one had told me about before...that have helped! He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. This is one of the hardest reviews I have ever had to write. When my dad had a cerebral infarction…read morefollowed by a stroke, he was totally bed bound and unable to speak again. After his initial emergency stay at Kaiser, followed by a month stay in a nursing boarding facility, I decided to take care of my dad at my home where he could stay close to me. Vitas Healthcare was the hospice company that was referred to us by Kaiser. Vitas became a critical part of my life over the last 6 months and of course my dad's life. This included an adjustable hospital bed, tray table, trapeze bar and some bedside equipment. I was often in contact with staff either in person or by phone. They have numerous qualified visiting nurses, along with home health aides, social workers and chaplains that constantly play a role in the care of my elderly father. I quickly learned how to become a hospice care giver myself with their help every step of the way. I didn't quite know what my future was going to be, but at least I had Vitas to lean on. I truly appreciated the knowledge and dedication of the traveling RNs for his medical care, the advice doctors on call, and the home health aides who gave my dad his bed baths. Joy and Daljit took great care of my dad's hygiene needs even though he was sometimes uncooperative due to the pain he endured. I felt very comfortable to have the Vitas personnel in my home on almost a daily basis. Especially during his final days. I miss my dad so much. But I hope we were able to make him a little more comfortable the best we could as he slowly declined until his passing.

We ended up at Sutter's ER then had one home health visit from a few departments. One person was abrasive, the other was rushed the only one who seemed to care was the guy in PT. Their social workers who are supposed to help you find benefits for your parents are unfriendly, the least empathetic of any I have ever experienced. She even lamented about her problems and complaining about her job as if I was wrong for wanting figure out how to navigate CA healthcare. In WA my mom had Medicaid that paid for her to be in an Adult Family Home, she also had in home health and they were all really nice. Everyone wanted to help the patient:elderly but here no one wants to tell you what is available. I have been finding bits and pieces from people I encounter. There should be a packet or a hospital, county support person who navigates Medicaid. Helps you find, Boarding homes, assisted living or in home care covered by Medicaid benefits because your parents are eligible for these benefits. What is wrong here? Even the skilled nursing facility hasn't even mentioned Medicaid they just say her insurance is up go pay out of pocket for in home or boarding but they take Medicaid and this is Woodside... they sent me to a dump of a boarding home where a dog was locked in a utility building while I toured the place. Can Sutter do better? My mom has Medicaid in place in Washington good until April next year.

I made the right choice because I found this group to be extremely well managed with caring and thoughtful management and staff. They try their best to match their professionals with the needs of the patient. They are flexible with shift change requests and respond immediately if there are questions or issues with their service. This group can also bill direct to CalPERS Long term care which makes it easy to handle billing. This group charges a slightly higher hourly rate than some other local health care groups but, I find their service and caliber of health care provider is worth every penny.

I would highly recommend California Caregivers to anyone needing in home care, and I plan to hire them in the near future to assist my aunt with her needs.

SUPERB, SPECTACULAR, PHENOMENAL, EXCEPTIONAL, 20 STARS (on a normal 5 star scale)…read more It is unfortunate that we had to utilize their services, family being placed on Hospice care, but I am glad they were our first choice. Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.

Nurse Mia is the absolute worst. She hasn't the slightest clue how to do her job. I tried to be…read moreaccommodating and explain over and over again my needs ect but she just kept talking to me like a robot and it wasn't even about anything I was talking about. I've never met anyone so confused before. Confused about everything I said from my medical needs to where to park at my house. To top it all off she terminated all of my services including my ability to order the supplies I need. I never asks her to cancel anything especially the supplies I need.
