Always letting my daughter know each set that was going to be taken to insure her and baby would be as safe as possible. Keeping her not only informed but keeping her at ease. But they also helped making her family that was there comfortable. Which made it easy for us to help comfort her as well. After my daughter gave birth, baby was also well taken care of. They really make sure with so much information for new parents and experienced parents make a smooth transition home. Cafeteria was in my opinion great. I didn't know hospital food changed so much since I worked in one. We did have a staff member tell us food was actually better a few months ago. But they probably don't have much experience with small town hospital food. Staff in Cafeteria were so nice. Cafeteria was clean everytime we went in(which was for all 3 meals). We didn't really feel need to leave to get anything to eat. I would recommend this hospital to any mother.

I like the fact that they set you up in a pre-op room so that you can spend time with family before you go into a procedure. Then once you get your medicine, if you're like me you would just pass out immediately. Lol . Just say loving words to your family before you go into your procedure is sooo important. I was extremely sore afterwards and had tons of bruises but I bruise easily. I figured it would happen. The staff was sooo kind throughout the experience. Thank you again.

It was a little bit of a drive for us, but in the end, it was definitely worth it. They are located in the newer complex on 27 behind the Walmart on John's Lake Road. They were easy to locate and there is plenty of parking with accessible spaces in front. When we arrived, the check-in was pretty quick. They were fairly busy, but we had a reasonable weight before we were called in. They did the usual basics going over medical history and covered the reason for being there. When the doctor came in, she was pleasant and listened attentively to what was going on. We were there for a while, but when always said and done, we basically had the answers we expected, but also a simple diagnosis that was needed so that some other doctors can proceed more easily in their work. The office is well lit and clean, and everyone that worked there was very friendly and professional.

Each step of the way, the health professionals explained where I was headed - examination room or radiology - and what to expect, with care and kindness. Dr Sophia Davis examined me and provided the plan for healing my ankle. She answered all our questions (my wife accompanied me), and communicated in a direct, easy to understand way with a touch of a dry wit. I felt completely secure with her diagnosis and direction. I recently delivered here and what an amazing experience I had!…read more From initially pre-registering after our tour, we knew this hospital would be a wonderful fit for my birthing experience! On the tour we were shown the different rooms, got the opportunity to ask a variety of questions and were given a plethora of information, all was extremely helpful! We were told about a variety of prenatal classes HCA offered, and we did take them all! The staff that led them were incredible and we left each class feeling better prepared and more knowledgeable on topics from breastfeeding, newborn care and labor/delivery. We did (unfortunately) get to visit triage a few times through my pregnancy and each time I felt like my care was individualized and I was a priority for them, not just a number. Their triage is small, but they do an amazing job to ensure you and baby are safe! During my labor/delivery experience I had the most incredible care team! My birth preferences were discussed and respected, the nursing staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and safe. There wasn't one thing I would change about my experience, everything was so great! Even afterwards, dealing with billing/insurance (while normally a pain) the HCA representatives I've interacted with have been so pleasant and extremely helpful in solving any issues that came up. The *only* down side to this hospital is that they do not have a NICU on campus, HOWEVER if your baby does need NICU time, they are transferred to Nemours down the road, which has every resource available for baby! Overall I would highly recommend UCF Lake Nona Medical Center to other low risk moms-to-be in the area. The level of care and service was unmatched and truly exceptional!

Registered Nurses are here to help you with minor illnesses, cuts, etc. while you are in the Park. Not only do they offer great advice, but they are able to give you over-the-counter medications like Pepto, Tums, Tylenol, Benadryl, ect. They are have items available like Bandaids and gauze. They even have those handy dandy nausea bags if you are feeling sick. All of the items are free. There are cots here if you need to lie down for a while whether you're feeling sick, or perhaps the intense FL heat has gotten to you. It's extremely cool in this building, just like in a hospital. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the RNs are. Maybe we come in here a little too often because Pam always recognizes us. Haha This is such a great service Disney offers. Make sure to take advantage of it if you are in need of minor medical assistance.

This is a new doctors office for me and I've only had two visits so far. Mine is a difficult case…read morewhich makes it a bit rough on the doctor, but he listens well and has tried to work with me to get my care in line. My first visit was the usual longer visit and we set up for the follow up visit as well as bloodwork. In the interim I've had to use the app to contact them a few times. I sent off for some medication refills because I need them from this doctor now and those have gone off without any problems. I also contacted them through the app for a reference for pain management because I was having problems and the place I go for pain management needed a new referral, but didn't tell me till the day before my visit was scheduled. I ended up having to reschedule twice because they never got the referral. I happen to go in for my bloodwork about a week before my second visit and Quest had no order from the doctors office. Be as it was 7 AM there was nobody available at the doctors office to take care of this for me. I called the phone number and got what I believe is their service who checked my file and confirmed that the doctor had not put in an order for bloodwork for me I also asked him about the referral and there wasn't a lot to be done other than to notify the office and have the nurse get back to me and the referrals department. Both followed up well and everything not taken care of. I ended up having to make a fresh appointment for the bloodwork only two days before my doctors appointment but my results were in in time. On my visit, we went over my bloodwork, which is in pretty good order and talked more about my care plan and moving forward. Even with a few bumps in the road I'm still happier with this doctor than most every other doctor I have had in the state over the last 18 years. The building itself is accessible with accessible spaces near the entrances. The office is on the fourth floor, but does not have an accessible entrance. The waiting room is small but clean. The staff has all been friendly, professional and helpful.

This was an excellent urgent care overall. The nurse we saw at check-in was curt and not friendly…read moreor cheerful so that wasn't particularly encouraging when I came in with my sick daughter. However Dr Applebee was warm, friendly, and had a great bedside manner. He patiently listened when I asked him questions and tried to do some sleuthing to figure out why my daughter had a high fever despite testing negative for everything. Urgent cares are limited in what they can do but he was very helpful in talking through the options. At the urgent care at home i am used to them doing a panel of RSV, strep, flu, covid, and rhinovirus. For some reason this urgent care doesn't do rhinovirus, and if they test for the other 5, they need to take 3 separate swabs whereas ours just goes 1 swab. So my poor daughter wasn't happy about that but the kindness of the doctor made up for it. He even gave her a rubber ducky as a little treat on the way out which beats the stickers at other places. If we are in the area again and need to go to an urgent care, we'd come here again! Especially in a place where there are so many urgent cares. Oh and I saw an X-ray room on the way out so that's another bonus to come here instead of an ER.
