When I finally checked my mom out of this facility, in her mail was a bill for $4818.50!!!! After contacting the business unit in Baldwin, NY the young lady told me that the bill is actually $7,751.50($209.50 per day)!!!! If a program could not be found for my mother, why did it take $7,751.50 to make her aware & the family!!! We only live around the corner from this facility.!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Clean and comfortable environment. Very friendly , warm and professional staff. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the aides that helped her with the everyday life were wonderful. The Wellness staff headed by Wanda we're out standing. Shannon and Howard were very helpful in any way they could, so when I went to work I had peace of mind. I knew she was safe. The Arbors is a very affordable place. Compared to the other assisted living. Every thing is included in the monthly price. There are a lot of activities for the residents My Mom 's favorite was the Sunday ice cream social. My Mom has passed. So many of the staff attended her funeral. That really touched my heart. I will miss my Mom everyday. And I will miss the staff whom took such good care of her.

My review of True Potential is no different. While the business location may be new - their experience, service and expertise are not. It looks like my review isn't the only one that has been filtered out either. I can't understand why Yelp makes it so hard for small town, small business owners to do their jobs. Because of it's size, this business will never have tens of thousands of reviews like bigger companies do (who have reviews that "stick"), it just won't. I watched a video just above my hidden review that supposedly explains why Yelp filters reviews out. But they say in the video that 75% of reviews actually show up. But, 4 out of 4 left for True Potential are hidden - and I happen to know one of the other reviews, they are also a real patient who left a genuine and heartfelt review. True Potential does fantastic work and we should be allowed to recognize it!

From the very beginning, Melonie made the intake process seamless and reassuring, and she has continued to stay in contact even after intake, which means so much to us. Nicole, who handles scheduling, is also so kind and responsive -- together, they both make everything feel effortless, even though I know how much work goes on behind the scenes. Our nurse, Erin, has been such a steady, compassionate presence. She explains everything clearly, is so patient with our questions, and makes us feel truly supported. And I have to give special mention to Tanessa, our aide. My dad has never been someone who is particularly comfortable with people helping him -- but he absolutely adores her. She's not only skilled and attentive, but she brings warmth and kindness that has made this experience so much easier for him and for all of us. They are unorganized, so I stopped going there and switched to Stony Brook Hospital Hematologists. I first tried seeing Dr. Yelda Nouri. She quickly stated something briefly. Then she rushed me out the door. I tried to ask some questions. She replied in about five words. Then she left the room to make more money by seeing more patients. She does not care about patient's health; works only for money. Dr. Nawaz is brilliant and kind, yet runs 45-60 minutes late. The Patchogue location has poor quality sensors for the water to turn on in the restrooms. The water turned on for only one second, off four seconds; on again for one second; then no more water at all from the faucet. I have never experienced such poor water sensors before. I almost began to bleed caused by so-called blood specialists. They seem to have no idea what causes eczema. My fingers within two minutes became cracked, peeling and almost bleeding from this location. Patients with eczema, beware. In general, NY Cancer and Blood Specialists has some good doctors, some not so good, and the quality of everything else is poor.
