Patient as we asked a few questions and ordered a couple of Fried Chicken Sandwiches, a BBQ Chicken on large potato roll, and Fries. She suggested we wait inside due to the cold wind blowing through our jackets. Good idea, as there was a guitarist strumming tunes in the corner, and a full house of happy folk enjoying the brew and entertainment. Zaran was bagging our grub when we went back to the truck 10 minutes later. The red rooster logo blazed on all three bags; it hadn't changed in the past decade or more. The sandwiches were very good; hot, crisp, fresh and thick with pickle chips and spicy mayo spread over top. The fries were also excellent, crunchy with just enough salt to keep the tongue intrigued. Happy to have FD in the neighborhood.
