But yeah, there's plenty of parking; there has to be for a place this big. We parked a decent way back and walked up to the court with no problem. Oh, and parking is free. Make sure you don't have an umbrella or purse bigger than ......a big index card. They wont let you in. But, it's thoughtful of them to have a small trailer w/lockers outside in case you need to store something that can't go in. INGENIOUS! Of course the food is expensive, what did you expect? And don't think you'll be able to get 2 beers (one for you and one for your partner), because......... NO. You can only purchase 1 beer for 1 person. So, if you're doing the food & beer run, bring the other person or you'll just have to go back. The food options are okay; typical of the venue. The do offer Ledos pizza, which is pretty good. I also purchased chicken strips w/fries and dipping dots. Of course, leaving such a huge venue always calls for patience. They pretty much have it down to a science at this point. It'll still take you some time, but you're not there forever. I'd like to go back for another game. It's such a nice venue.

It was obvious the parking operation was in chaos, with attendants scrambling to redirect cars because paid and unpaid vehicles were apparently mixed together. Our ticket listed a lettered lot. The attendant told us that was a system error and lots are actually numbered. So the ticket we paid for in advance directed us to a lot that didn't exist as described. Great start. Once we finally parked, we found two lines stretching at least an eighth of a mile each. We picked the shorter one and stood in the rain for 45 minutes. When we finally reached the door, the event staff greeted us with visible irritation. We had been standing outside getting soaked for the better part of an hour and were met with attitude. The only reason we stayed was because of what we paid for the tickets. Inside, electronics go into pouches, which is fine. Except the pouches have no straps and no unique identifiers. Set yours down for a second in the bathroom and good luck sorting it out from everyone else's. A small but telling detail about how much thought went into the logistics. We left early to beat the exit crush and it still wasn't pretty. I don't care who performs here. We will not be back.

I can't definitely see why more and more artists are choosing to host concerts here over DC. To quote the famous J-Hope: "I want more Baltimore!"

I had to ask a couple of questions while trying to understand how to navigate to the club-level area, and everyone assisted with a smile. One of my favorite Club level perks? FREE WATER AND SODAS!!!! With the stadium prices being what they are, having complimentary drinks available was definitely appreciated. Food- I tried a little bit of everything, and overall, the food was hit or miss. Crab Cake egg rolls from Jimmy's Seafood. As a BMore girl, anything with "crab cake" in the name is going to get my attention. They were okay-not bad, but they didn't necessarily wow me either. The Little Caesars pizza was pretty small, but it's Little Caesars at a stadium, so I knew what I was getting. It did the job. Chicken Tenders & Western Fries. The tenders really didn't have any flavor, and the western fries were just meh for me. However, I absolutely loved how this meal represented Baltimore. There's something about seeing this familiar BMore-style dish, served in a box at a Ravens game, that just felt right. Kudos to whoever came up with the concept! Maybe if it came with saltpeppaketchuphotsauce, yes, all one word, IYKYK, it would have enhanced the taste and added flavor. Popcorn- freshly popped, hot, and exactly what this OG popcorn lover wants while watching a game. I also tried both the classic cinnamon and Oreo churros, and both were Good. Ambiance-Great aesthetics for a stadium. Club level was nicely decorated as well. Parking-Rough, and on opener day with double games (Ravens and Orioles), it was horrible. Many lots were available for a fee; I paid $80. But having the convenience of getting in and out, not being blocked in and waiting hours to get out of a garage, made the cost worth it.

There were heavy thunderstorms between 4:30 and 5:30 pm, after which the weather was clear and dry. After the heavy rains it is understandable that there would be a small rain delay in starting the game. The stadium was open by 5:30 and letting fans in. However, we were left sitting there until 7:20 pm without any prediction when the game would start (despite several announcements promising a start time). The only information we got was that we were certainly free to spend money on concessions while waiting. At 7:20 they finally announced the game would be postponed. This is a callous disregard for the fans, their time, and money. If the field was unplayable due to weather, or whatever the reason for the postponement, the Keys should not have wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes of the fans' time before announcing the decision.

CFG arena was charging $77. We parked a block away and spent $25. It was handy getting out of our garage so quickly. There are three entrances to the arena. Howard Street, Baltimore Street and Hopkins Plaza. We used Hopkins since levels 100 & 200 enter there. The recording about bag sizes and what is allowed played on an endless loop by the doors. It got a bit tedious. The same announcement played as we exited. Club Fearlesd is a premium upgrade for guests who pay who pay $75 (kids $25) for a premium upgrade can enter an hour early. You can enter the arena on the ground floor. Arm rails in the middle of the steps look like they could obstruct some views. Clear stadium bags (14x6x14), an empty water bottle and umbrellas without a tip are allowed. Non clear handbags 4x6x6 are allowed. If your bag is too big, there are rental lockers near the Hopkins Plaza entrance. The stage lights were fun to watch. Each set was brilliant. Snacks were sold throughout the arena. Bottled water was $7.50.

As we drove closer to the arena, we noticed it was going to take us 20 mins to drive 0.3miles. We parked close to Lexington Market which has lots of free street parking. The walk was about 7-10mins from the car to CFG Arena. Show time was 7:30pm and we arrive to the Arena around 7:50pm. The line was ridiculously long regardless of which entrance we wanted to use. The staff were directing people to certain lines depending on where you were seated. Our line went down the street which was lengthy and into a parking lot. This was not a single file line either and people were clumped together... we contemplated leaving but I really wanted to see Dave Chappelle. 10mins into standing in line, a staff member told half the people in the garage to follow her. She walked us down some stairs, around the building and directed us to use another entrance... she directed us to join another cue but this line had less people but still long and slow moving. We stood in line for another 25mins before going through security. We were given a card with our seat number on it because our phones, and anything with Bluetooth capabilities including my Apple Watch and AirPods. When inside it wasn't too hectic, we were able to purchase merchandise as well as drinks from various vendors on a our way to our seats. We had great seats in the 102 section and could see the stage clearly. The show was great! Leaving with another hassle. Standing in a slow, barely moving line because we needed our phone unlocked. We ended up leaving through a side exit, walking to the front and entering in the front to have our phones unlocked. Despite the challenges with their process, staff was nice and friendly.

Representing 2nd quarter 2019 in scrapbook series is Nationals Park. I've been to Nationals Park…read moremultiple times over the past decade. My very 1st game was on Memorial Day 2013, which was a Beltway series against the O's. At the time, I was living in Alexandria; so I was geographically closer to DC than Baltimore. So naturally, I was rooting for the Nats. My friend who was a Phillies fan was rooting for the O's. In 2021, O's became my #1 team, and Nats moved from 2nd favorite to least favorite. Nats gained a bit back, maybe now 4th or 5th least favorite team. In spite of not liking the Nats now, it's still a solid ballpark. At some point, I'll give a 5-star review to Camden Yard in Baltimore. I like Nats Park better than Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs)...see my 3-star of them from October 2025. Rate Field (Chicago White Sox) I gave 4-stars that same day in October. I think Nats Park is even a bit superior to Rate Field. The thing that is a winning factor for Nats Park is some good city views of US Capitol & various other buildings particularly in the nosebleed seats. The ballpark is spacious. You come in a grand entrance. Their mascot is Screech, an oversized bald eagle. But even more well known are the oversized Presidents. I've said hello to Lincoln (my favorite President) as well as Washington, Jefferson, & Teddy Roosevelt greeting fans. By far, Teddy is the most popular people root for when they race around the ballpark in the 4th inning. I'd be happy for Teddy as that's what the majority want, but I don't have a strong opinion. Regardless of who wins, it's entertaining to watch. In September 2015, I took pics of US Presidents in race greeting fans in the front. For a few years, they were honoring William Howard Taft, who was the 1st President to throw out a ceremonial pitch. It was in April 1910 in DC, the Washington Senators vs. Philadelphia Athletics. I'm pictured with Calvin Coolidge who they used for some of 2015 season in the race. Eating options are plentiful, but of course overpriced, but some good unique variety. In August 2024, I had Arepa, which was great. Fun fact: The last FIVE games I was rooting for the other teams (Rangers, White Sox, O's, Reds, & Brewers all lost when I saw them), and Nats won. My intention is good luck to the other team, but just my luck Nats win every time. Maybe I should go when Dodgers or Yankees visit; that's when I'd want to give Nats some luck! In July 2023, I was rooting for Texas Rangers. I had the starting pitcher in my Fantasy baseball league. My friend was running a bit behind. I waited by Metro for him, and I was checking on my phone Rangers didn't score in 1st inning. Then, it was Nats turn at bat, and all of sudden I heard loud cheering, it was a 3-run homer, then a 1-run homer. 4-0. My pitcher got lit up with 36 ERA in the 1st inning. I was annoyed with a rain delay that occurred. Almost the entire DC area wasn't experiencing rain but an isolated thunderstorm blew through Alexandria & Reagan National Airport and came right over Nats Park. The rain lasted maybe 15 minutes, but the game was delayed 1.5 hours, which I thought was ridiculous. I thought it might've been a ploy to get people to buy more drinks or food. But I wasn't going to do that. So instead of eating dinner after the game perhaps 6:30 or 7, it was after 8 PM. In September 2023, I had extra leave time for work I needed to use by end of month. I went to a Wednesday day game against White Sox. It was high scoring game for Nats 13 runs, and slightly below the median with only 3 for the White Sox. In May 2024, I was decked out in my O's shirt & hat for the Beltway series. Of course, my O's were bums...their final # of runs was a big fat O, while Nats got 3 or a sideways curly W for them. Then, Nats beat Cincinnati Reds when I was there in July 2024. Carly Rae Jepson performed that night, which was cool. Finally, in August 2024, I was rooting for my Milwaukee Brewers. But of course, they had to be total bums until 8th inning, where they caught up to only lose by 1 run. Conclusions: Nats Park is good solid ballpark. It's not the most architecturally appealing on the design like more the classic Camden Yard style, but it still does the job for good spectating.

Relatively small and non memorable kids area, especially compared to other ball parks ( climbing wall/ hot dog launcher in Philly, Pirates theme in Pittsburgh, etc) Want more of Screech though!!! The Nats won too!!
