They did start a little later than their posted opening time of 3:00 when I went (6.1.19) and unfortunately the operator of the bumper cars was very obviously under the influence, but aside from that we had a fantastic time and definitely plan to make this an annual tradition.

A Towson summer tradition! Every Friday night in the summer…read more(weather permitting) this is a great place to hangout. There's a different band every week playing family friendly music. Bring the kiddos and let them get that summer energy out in the bounce houses or dancing and hula hooping. Parents and adults can have a beer on the street and relax. Bring your camp chairs so you can stay a while. And come hungry. The surrounding restaurants are great and a few extra vendors and food trucks mix it up. Hope to see you there next week :)

The live music and dancing was so fun, there were even hula hoops all around! We tried fresh pizza slices, salads and the best calamari I've ever had with a lemonade and Italian iced tea to wash it all down. As someone who is not Italian, it was super cool to stop in and enjoy pieces of Italian culture and support an awesome Baltimore community! We will definitely be back next year!

It has free parking, free entertainment, visit to a National Historic landmark (1881 ornate Italian style church), a lot of great vendors and amazing foods. The "gladiators" pass you by on your way to watch a game of bocce ball. People are friendly as this is a block party festival that gives you a feeling that you are one big family. Very easy to start conversation and harder to end it. I learned today that the meat is not what makes calzone but the dough that hosts the meat inside. The meet was good but the dough was memorable. Speaking about the dough - how about delicious sweet fried dough for $3 that is impossible to finish by one person - even if you are a true Italian. I was advised by two elderly Italian ladies, "take real sugar because the powder sugar is too messy, and have sugar on both sides." I am sorry that I did not try meatballs but I can testify that calzone and pizza were the first class and worth the trip. I am very tempted to repeat the experience on a similar event - August 19 and 20, 2017 - this time just a saint will be different (St Gabriel in August).

The drinks and food are reasonably priced. I like getting their flatbreads. I did have an incident where someone else's drinks were put on my tab, so I usually pay as I go now. Water is not free and they do not allow you to bring any outside food or drinks, including your own water bottle. They have tournaments on the weekends usually so it does get busy then. They also have a big private parking lot.

I got the VIP hookup! All you can eat crabs, coleslaw, corn, chips, and beer sampling!! When we entered, we got our VIP wristbands and a souvenir mini beer mug for endless samples. You have to options when sampling beer: try or mug. Trying allows you to taste the beer so you don't get a full mug and waste it if you don't like it. If you like it, ask them to "mug" and they will fill the mug. Lots of great beer, wine, and spirit vendors were present, such as Guinness, Heavy Seas, Charm City Meadworks, Virginia Distillery Co, Hoop Tea, and Jim Beam. We definitely took advantage and left lit! The crabs came 6 at a time. They provided us with mallets, wet naps, butter, Old Bay, and vinegar. VIPs also have guaranteed seating until the big tent. There was a live band for entertainment and they sang a little bit of everything. The people attending were great, the attendant were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go to another. The VIP tickets were worth it!!

We picked the later session for the sake of the summer heat and it couldn't have been more perfect once the sun set! We also enjoyed the live band that performed favorite, current & pop covers. This was a super fun event, great location with admirable views of the inner harbor, and I cannot wait til I get to come again. I had a great first experience! Vendors of all types were there to offer a variety of things from jewelry, desserts, services, handmade goods, shirts, and many more. We took an Uber there, also my first time, so I can't comment on parking. What I found convenient was the portable sinks to wash your hands. There's a 1-2 foot pool sectioned off for the really little guppies. A small playground. A pool that gradually goes from zero inches to 4.5 feet for the slightly older toddlers and kids with two water slides. Then there's a standard diving and lap swimming pool in between the snack bar (with a ping pong table) and the indoor/outdoor bar (YAHS PLEASE). Downside is no towel service but there's a ton of leftover toys in the post and found for the kids to rummage through. The food is great pool food. Everyone is nice and it's not too busy even though it is hot as balls and the summertime.

There are many blind shots on this course and many uphill approaches to greens that are blind. Green are undulating depending on the pin position. We played here multiple times and thought course was in fair condition except for the fairways were not cut short to spin the ball, tee boxes and hole were not well marked ( no trash cans), and no cart service. It is esthetically pretty and easy to walk but it is hilly.

The acoustics were pretty good. Performance was outstanding. Staff was a bit rude rushing parents into the theatre although they were trying to ask questions about parking and seating etc. Timing was not thoughtful as the event was at 5pm which was really tough due to downtown traffic and zero dedicated parking. Signage or direction could have been better. The address leads to the side entrance but the event entrance was around the corner. Ultimately, I will return for another show to support a local school that I respect so much, however, at least I know about parking and location in advance.
