I have been a patient of Dr. Hussain at Ridgeview internal medicine for many years. All the staff at the office are extremely nice and helpful. You will not find a better Doctor than Doctor Hussain anywhere! He is the absolute best! If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been trying to get this establishment to send my wife's prescription to the pharmacy for the past three days. I've called them multiple times, and each time they assured me it would be done. Yet, when I check with the pharmacy, they still haven't received the prescription. This is a basic task, and their inability to complete it is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding Ridgeview Internal Medicine--if they can't handle something as simple as faxing a prescription, I wouldn't trust them with anything more important. read more

Losing Harriett Greenfield this summer was the worst thing to happen to this office, and they have yet to replace her. She was very professional and had a great rapport with the patients. Since Harriett's departure, their office workers have been very unprofessional, rude, and aloof. They rarely answer the phone and rarely return telephone calls. I had a conversation with the staff manager about their office worker's lack of professionalism, and she was mature enough to apologize. The loss of Harriett has clearly impacted that office. read more

My sister and brother in law recommended this office to me. From my understanding Harriet's father started Ridgeview office many years ago. She is absolutely marvelous, very knowledgeable and thorough in getting to the bottom of whatever is ailing you. If she doesn't know, she will not hesitate to refer you to a specialist if necessary. Dr. Al-Khateeb came highly recommended and has a reputation as being a thorough doctor but my family has seen the opposite. We became new patients in 2020 and it has been an average 1-hour wait before called back to see doctor on each visit. We can never get a sick appointment the same week, so our alternative is Urgent Care paying higher co-payments! We never receive any test results in a timely manner! We must constantly call for results and after week-1, the staff always tell us that the results are in but WE have to "wait" for the doctor to review them, so they will send her a reminder note, which takes another week before they call back with results! By then the results are visible in the online chart or we have already seen our specialist doctor for treatment as needed. We get physicals annually but oddly, there was no office record of previous physicals last July but insurance company was charged for physical! This year physical exam was scheduled with Dr. Al-Khateeb after 1.5 hour wait, I was passed off to the PA instead who did not conduct a physical exam but asked numerous questions which appeared to be for a survey or screening test for drugs and alcohol per line of questioning. Annoyed, I reminded her that I only scheduled 2-hours off with my employer so I needed to get back to work. When it was over, I felt like I was accused of being of an alcoholic drinking my pain or sorrows away, although I only drink occasionally. ‍ Anyone could see that I was being racially profiled! My husband is a Cancer survivor and I have a chronic medical condition so preventive care is essential for us! On a previous visit, I did address Dr. Al-Khateeb about concerns, but no improvements. So, I guess we need to search for a new family doctor who actually cares! ‍ read more

First and foremost the Doctor & the lab work nurse are amazing, this review is towards the front desk & whoever answered my phone call. I was giving two cards to call one for lab work & one to schedule an appointment, I had called the lab work couple times and nobody answered, I called the other number to let them know I had called and the lady on the phone lacked mannerism. Her response was "She's with a patient how is she going to answer while sticking a needle into a patient's arm" such a nasty response. How are patients supposed to know the same person doing the lab work is also answering phone calls? I work at a doctors office and nobody in our office would ever Talk to a patient like that. Train your front desk better or at least fake a good attitude. My health insurance is over $400 a month & im taking it to your office so I expect good service. Thank you! read more

Although nurse practitioner, Harriett Greenfield, has continually provided outstanding care and works long hours in support of her clients, some members of the support staff are rude, unapologetic, lackadaisical, and simply do not give a darn. Never have I seen someone responsible for providing telephone support either refuse to answer or return telephone calls or simply hang up on clients. In fact, the actions of one staff member in particular, Crystal, who answers phones and dispenses incorrect test results - caused me to leave the practice. Although the support staff's manager and Dr. Al-Khateeb are aware of her negligent behavIor, it appears they value her incompetency over maintaining their clients. read more

I see Monica Taylor or occasionally Harriett Greenfield. They are both Nurse Practitioners and wonderful. Monica always takes time to explain whatever procedure she had chosen to do and why. She also explains the meds prescribed and side effects. No problem seems too small to have her undivided professional attention. Sometimes, the wait times are a little extreme. But that's what you get with a busy practice. I have always left knowing that I will fell better very soon. Love the same day appointments. After all, who wants to wait when you think you are sick. You want someone to get your relief soon. No problems here. I love the place and, in particular, Monica. Shout out to Harriet too and the rest of the friendly staff. read more

I have been going to this practice for over 8 years and will continue due to the office manager Jessica, Dr. A & the phlebotomist - Tracy I believe her name is? They have all been there for YEARS. I was miserable sick with flu symptoms which caused some back and forth to finally get my care figured out. Needless to say it's been a couple days and I'm starting to feel better. I've been a patient of this practice since Dr. Ventzyk and have stayed through the scandal that plagued the practice related to the MD that took over after he retired. They've been going downhill for years. The problems are 100% administrative incompetence. Unfortunately, whereas I trust the medical care, I can no longer trust the admin. Recently, my CPAP machine failed and I struggled for three weeks to simply get them to send my prescription to the vendor so I could get it replaced. Unfortunately, it is my opinion that they are dangerously inept. I hope they get it together, but for now, I'm finding a new doctor. Sorry... it was great once. read more

Tomorrow would have been my first visit I asked that I go ahead and get the Well Woman checkup since I was coming in for a related matter. I was told office policy is not to do a Well Woman on the first visit I asked why not and explained that I don't have time to run back and forth to the Dr. I have to work. No other explanation except that's their policy. Then the new patient coordinator said to me maybe they are not the office for me and I should call my insurance company to find a new provider. What a horrible way to treat incoming patients. This just a way to milk more money from patients and the insurance company for 2 visits. She should not be speaking to patients. read more

My husband, adult son and I have been going to this practice for years. We have yet to have a bad experience. The office staff is very helpful, it's easy to make and reschedule an appointment. The office has full time phlebotomists even on Saturdays who very efficient. The doctors and PAs get backed up from time to time but the medical staff has never rushed through appointments. The office has Saturday hours to try to accommodate patients that work. They must be doing something right to have many big name colleges/universities continue to send nursing students there for their internships. read more

Worst experience in Woodbridge. The front office is so bad that you will not want to go back. Look out for Kim, and a few others that work the phone and perform admin tasks in the front office. There is no oversight or consideration given to the patients. I have been helping an elderly friend with her medical appointments. I found her a GP at the Ridgeview Internal Medicine, which she really likes.. But her experience with the front office staff was so bad that she did not want to go to her appointments alone. I started taking her to some of her appointments. My first visit was a nightmare! The front office staff is rude, incompetent. They do not want to speak or help the patients which explains why they have done their best to cover up the very small window that allows them access to the patients as they check in. You can barely make eye contact or hear the admin staff on the other side. When you arrive they pretty much ignore you for a long time. They are rude, unprofessional, use expletive language, and yell at patients. They are careless with medical records. I tried to help my friend refill her prescriptions and had to call 3 days in a row. I never received a call back or the refill. I had to drive all the way to the office to get them to submit the order. I tried in vain to encourage my friend to try other physicians in the area, but she liked her doctor and was welling to endure the abuse. Having met my friend's physician several times, I understood why she wanted to remain her patient. So we complained to doctor and the front office "manager", don't be fooled, there really isn't a manger there. Nothing changed. I managed to find another good physician for my friend, but it took one year and 8 awful front office experiences. The last straw for us was when the slim blond lady that usually handles the calls and check ins made an elderly patient cry and said that she was f------ stupid for spelling her name too fast. What is happening to the world! Please believe me that there are other professional offices out there that also have great doctors. I know it can be difficult to find a good physician, but you don't have to put up with abuse. And those of you with elderly friends and family members, please, please help them find the care they deserve. Just an update, as it turns out the phyician that my friend liked at this office also no longer works here. Not very shocking!! read more

I've been going to this doctors for many years. i need to switch doctors. i schedule an appointment for an certain hr, i get there on time, and i don't go in till half hour later. I've been miss diagnose a couple of time. when i have been really specific about my problem. I'm really sick of these people, the doctor, and the staff. I'm looking for a new doctor. read more
