When we received heavy rains, water gushed through this gap towards our house. Water got into our interior wall and under the wood floors, causing thousands of dollars of damage. I had them come take a look at the gutter, and they agreed that it was poorly installed and damaged. Bryan from Norton's told me numerous times that he would get our floor fixed. Well, he was lying to my face and did not try to help us out. Norton's spent the next month avoiding my questions about fixing my floor, and finally Beau Norton called me and told me they would not pay for damages and that there was never a problem with my gutter (which he never looked at). He interrupted every sentence I tried to say and was unbelievably rude. I only gave them 1 star because I could not give 0 stars. Norton's did poor work and then made it worse by being jerks. Find someone else to do your roof.

The invoice was higher than the quote. When I asked why, they said they had to replace a rotten piece of roof decking. When I asked how there could be a rotten roof decking sheet under a new roof they had no answer for me. Either my new 50 year warranty roof is leaking or they put shingles over rotten decking to begin with. Best part... they keep telling me they'll come out and see what the problem is but they don't. I contracted with the Conway branch for roof, siding and paint on my house. I was assured that…read morethey would use expert installers that worked for them. Roofers did a good job but it went downhill from there. The first siding installers messed it up completely and severely damaged the front and rear doors, and damaged the new roofing edges by leaning ladders against it. First Star sent a second crew that tore off and replaced the siding but couldn't fix the doors. They even replaced the front storm door but it still wouldn't work right because the doorframe was sprung. Then the power wash crew came out but didn't have a power washer. They had to go to Home Depot and buy one. Wanted to quit 2/3 of the way through because they didn't bring any fuel for it. I put my own gas in it for them to finish. When the paint crew showed up they didn't even have any ladders and had to use mine. They didn't caulk the gaps as promised. First Star had no qualms about leaving a 75 year old man to caulk siding and touch up paint, and repair doors and doorframes so the doors will actually close and latch. Plus I'm still picking up chunks of fiber cement siding, nails, and shards of aluminum soffit from the yard. It's not like they were pressed for time. Started in October, finished in August. You'd be better off going to Home Depot early in the morning and picking your own crews. Probably would get better results.
