Today ( July 5, 2021) Bob's crew installed the new roof in one day. The other roofs were removed and cleanup was fine. A good roofing company can be hard to find, though the other two companies that gave us bids seemed fine. But Bob did something extremely rare. His company called and told us most of the plywood we had was still good. Our final bill was $2500 less than the original estimate. Bob could have taken the new plywood back, charged me for it, and I would never have known the difference. Instead he displayed the highest level of integrity, so I recommend him as highly as possible.

The roof shingles themselves are fine but all of the trim work was a mess. Also there were numerous black marks all over the front and back of the house and also on the window glass. So I waited another month for them to come out and fix it. David had come out and took pictures of the issues, but when the workers came they had no idea what they were fixing. They drove away after an hour and I had to call back to have them finish. Also instead of fixing a shingle issue on a corner of the house (which was promised by David) they just painted over it thinking I wouldn't notice. So at this point of 3 months of hassle dealing with them, I guess I'll fix it myself. Another thing, they have left a large metal sign in front of my house for two months. I took it out and told them if they didn't come and get it I'm throwing it out. So it's June 5th and the sign is still here. This company just tells you what you want to hear, also charges you at least a third more then other estimates I received. I made a mistake I guess trusting the owner David. I haven't heard from him of course.

He recommended the best layout for the space and suggested opening a soffit to provide more room and improve ventilation for the shower/tub unit. Throughout the project, he or a team member was present to monitor and manage all aspects, from demolition, replumbing, and rewiring to the final placement of fixtures, ensuring everything met building standards and our satisfaction. He also addressed mold and water issues, using quality materials to prevent future problems. One suggestion for homeowners planning a remodel: make sure all products, fixtures, and tiles are ordered, delivered, and inspected before the project starts. We mistakenly waited to order the shower/tub unit until after the demolition, which led to a scramble for a timely delivery--only to find that the unit was damaged upon arrival. Upon removing the downstairs shower, we saw new ideas for the remodel including moving the entry from the dining room to the laundry room and then decided to remodel the laundry room. There were many issues such as plumbing against a wall where it would freeze, the toilet connection was crooked, and a joist supporting the bathroom floor was cut. Jason came up with solid solutions and when completed we were amazed. The differences are so great. I don't think we would have had the same result if we didn't use Jason. If I have another project that needs to be done my first call will be to Jason without a doubt. I would highly recommend him- you won't be disappointed.

I contacted Shane from Ridge Runner Roofing and made an appointment.The day of the appointment arrived and Shane was a no show.I called and Shane apologized and said he totally forgot and would I reschedule .I did for Monday,May 14th between 4:00 and 4:30. Shane again was a no show,no call, he just didn't show up.I did not call this time,apparently this company has too much business or they have poor customer relations.When someone doesn't show up twice,I certainly am not going to give them my roofing business.Shane you lost out on a potentially lucrative job.I have a local company that is on time and reliable. I too had a small roof repair which Ridge Runner just finished for me today. (Yes, on New Year's Day!) My issue began last week just before Christmas. Shane was the only individual responding to my inquiry and was good enough to come out the same day. He quickly assessed the problem and was able to secure my roof until the repair could be made. Shane is the most honest, fairly priced, and knowledgeable tradesman in his field that I've encountered in a very long time. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any roofing service you may need. While they were here, they stated that one of my roof penetrations need new flashing . I gave them the okay to put new flashing on all my penetrations including the chimney. Six months later a water leak developed from my chimney. I contacted them and they stated that my entire chimney need to be rebuilt. I question that if the chimney was in that condition, why did the put new flashing on a bad chimney. They should of told me about this before they put the new flashing on. I called another contractor and he fixed the chimney and corrected a caulking problem from the flashing installation. The total cost was half of what I was quoted from the original contractor. I asked the owner secretary to try and explain to me why he would put flashing on a bad chimney. I asked his secretary ,would he put a new roof over rotten plywood . I requested to have the owner contact me, but he never called. I would give them five stars for the moss removal, but one star for the flashing. When I called about the leak,they came out the next day and put a tarp over the chimney to prevent any further damage.
