I'm lucky I didn't get hurt in the process. Anyway, I read about this company on Nextdoor and figured I go local. I couldn't be happier. Kyle arrived and chipped away at the spray-foam, fixed the track, the wire, changed the lightbulb, showed me how the on/off lock works and installed an exterior keypad for me. I'm actually thrilled about all this. Kyle was super nice and easy going. He went above and beyond to help me. Plus, everything was reasonably priced.

When Ted, from the Window People, came out to measure he wrote up the $2,700+ window order for white hardware even though the window he was replacing and every window in the house had brass hardware. The new window was installed and later I noticed the hardware did not match the old window. When I asked to have the hardware replaced, Ted wanted over $100 to swap it out. Ted and I went back and forth over "I signed for white hardware" versus "You were instructed that I wanted the exact same window as before but longer vertically". Ted wants the money... I called customer service at Marvin Corporate and Jill was great. She sent me the hardware as a courtesy at no cost. Marvin makes a great window but where you purchase it from is important and if you are looking for reasonable support I would not call The Window People.

He agreed to get a new door but only if I will pay him and the insurance company will pay me (Just like me, he had some bad experiences with insurance companies and does not want to chase money belongs to him anymore). I was having a problem with my garage door motor and I hadn't had my garage door serviced in ages…read more So I contacted Greenwich Garage Door Repairs to replace the motor and at the same time do a though inspection on the door. They sent Paulo (The best ever) out the same day and he was able to point on the broken torsion spring I missed. He also determined that I didn't need a new door motor since the motor works perfectly; I just new spring system and the motor should be able to work again. He installed a pair of new torsion springs and lubricated the rollers and hinges on the garage door. The door's motor now runs quieter and smoother than before. Paulo was very proficient and professional with his work. He explained how the torsion springs worked in conjunction with the balance of the door and gave me some good advice on lubricating garage door and things to watch out for. Overall, I was very pleased with the job he did and with the process of getting my garage door serviced by Greenwich Garage Door Repairs.
