At one point they picked up and hung up. Today at the desk, they were less than friendly or inviting. My experience with Marie Eisner-Oaks last year was ZERO stars. She has the worst bedside manner I have ever personally experienced. I do not recommend anyone ever going to her. Now for my five star experience with Dr. Ludwig... I have not had good luck with gynecologists. I loved Dr. Hyatt and had her for a few years. When she left, I had another doctor that I liked for one visit but she left as well and I haven't had a positive experience since...until today! Dr. Ludwig was the most positive gynecological visit I've ever had!!! She was so kind and friendly and patient and took time to explain things to me and make sure I felt good about everything...even while having to wear a mask and a shield due to Covid!!! Last year, the bedside manner of Marie left me feeling so awful that I cried in the car and for the rest of the night. This was the complete opposite experience. Someone FINALLY explained some of the things related to our family history in a way that made me feel so much better and that someone was Dr. Ludwig! I could not say enough positive things about Dr. Ludwig. Thank you so much for not making this a sad and miserable experience like it typically is! I would like to follow up with the fact that today in the mail (real mail), I received unexpected information with a handwritten note from Dr. Ludwig. So appreciated! She's the best!!!!

Usually, she's super hard to get an appt with (I'm talking months) but my initial appt was only a few weeks from the time I called to set it up. She took her time getting to know me and my concerns, answered every question I had gently, but honestly, and made sure I understood everything before I walked out of the office. The wait time kind of sucks so I suggest anyone going for an appt bring something to keep you occupied. I've been in to see her 3 times since August (setting up follow-up appts are a breeze with her great staff there, btw) and every time had left me waiting about an hour. Kind of stinks but honestly, she's such a good dr that it's worth the wait. Kudos to the staff, also. They go above and beyond to make sure my calls are returned and non-medical questions are answered. Especially Pat, who was kind enough to take care of an issue this week for me. If you're looking for a kind, caring, and gentle ob/gyn, Dr Offer is definitely worth a try. You won't regret it!

I have been seeing her for…read more3 1/2 years and have multiple orthopedic issues, including osteoarthritis in multiple joints that left me with chronic pain. Dr. Scheier has always offered me excellent care and medical advice has never been hesitant to refer me to a specialist when necessary. Despite me seeing several specialists for one issue or another, Dr. Scheier always follows up on all of my treatments, surgeries, and medications. She listens to her patients and is always quick to respond to emails. As a patient, I prefer to have medical options discussed with me and I like that she takes a more consultative approach to patient care, involving the patient, rather than a top-down approach that some doctors take where they direct/order you to do something without explaining why. I never feel rushed during appointments and there always seems to be adequate time to discuss whatever is concerning me. This practice is also in a beautiful, modern, brand new building that houses many other medical providers as well as medical imaging.

We spent over 30 minutes simply talking before any testing was even done, which meant so much to me. It's rare to find a doctor who truly listens to your concerns and wants to understand the full picture rather than rushing through the appointment as though I am cattle. What I appreciated most was that she focused on finding the root cause of my issues instead of immediately prescribing antibiotics, which have repeatedly failed me in the past. She offered thoughtful at-home remedies and approaches that made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. Something that was super important to me is that the vitamins/supplements she suggested were ones without additives, just clean ingredients which I have at times spent hours searching the web for. It's comforting to know she gets it and I can fully trust her recommendations. On top of that, the annual exam was the most gentle, thorough, and comfortable I've ever had. As soon as I left the office, I called my sister and two of my closest girlfriends to tell them about my experience because I was that happy! They thought I was crazy for going to someones home but I knew in my gut it was what I've been looking for. Glad to share that I was right again :) If you have any reservations, let me negate them, her home was one of the most comforting places I've been, it feels healing, inviting, and warm. It's like your moms artsy friends house you went to as a kid who you just knew was the coolest in the 70s, and probably has killer stories you hope to hear when you're a little older.
