Absolutely, positively, the best pizza I've ever eaten. The ingredients are fresh and toppings are plentiful. The crust is unlike any other, and a phone-in order is often ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes. Staff is quick, friendly, and the establishment is a huge asset to the community. I visit my mother in Jena every 4-6 weeks, and I live over three hours away. Friends at home often ask me to bring Ricks Pizza to them (all the way in Texas). Way to go, Ricks! Would not come here, We work outta town and decided to come here from all the good reviews, walked in and the cashier gave the worst customer service ever, super super rude even when I asked for ranch and thought it nearly killed her to do that, I paid 70 something dollars for 4 buffets 3 drink and a water! and when I said "buffet" it's a dollar tree tray of spaghetti and 2 pizzas,and some nasty nasty cheese sticks you would have better pizza down at the gas station. AAll the tables was nasty, the bathroom was filthy just a horrible horrible experience! Do not recommend at all. you do not get what u pay for at all. read more

I went to Rick's and had their lunch buffet. It was a cozy little restaurant in the downtown area of Jena, La. They kept pizza coming out constantly, even with a lot of customers in the restaurant. I would recommend this place for f you are in the area! read more

Great small town pizza joint. It's on hwy 8 right in the middle of town. They make good food with lots of toppings. Try the bread sticks with meat on top. It's really good. The staff is real helpful and do a good job as they are making food for their friends and neighbors. If you are passing through Jena then stop and give them a try. read more

Super little pizza place. Common opinion is 'I cant believe you have pizza this good in Jena.' This place is actually named "little ricks" pizza I think. Owner is friendly and will come out and visit with customers. Skip the lunch buffet, the volume isn't high enough to keep everything fresh and hot. Poboys are good - they use Gambino's bread or equivalent - and dirt cheap to boot. You can get a better sandwich but at a lot higher price. Very favorable comparison to chain pizza. Good dough, medium crust. They will prepare to specifications (well done, easy sauce, etc) with no problems. Try the sophie salad which is a 'kitchen sink' type of affair. read more
